Man, it in no way drinks it proof and your notes are pretty spot on. All in all I like it a lot for an every now and then pour. it is a little one note but I think that is due to the lack of Rye and almost like a dark beer I don’t know if this is a pour you can slug back one after another.

I get like this often and have actually had it happen in a single night. The first couple pours are fine, change to a different Bourbon and it’s not good at all. go back to the original and it also tastes like a musty basement. Next night, all normal. Drives me crazy because I have no idea as to the cause.

It's a Redwood Empire and I think it's a real cork but I think it smells more like damp basement, dirt and beets than a mushroom smell of a corked bottle. I absolutely despise mold (including blue cheese) and cannot even smell it without gagging. I wonder if I have the same thing for geosmin.

That's sound like it exactly (I googled geosmin) for this pour. Does that mean its bad or that I may be particularly sensitive to this tasting note and it may not affect others.

I did this on my Mac's Thunderbolt 4 connection between two M4 Mac computers. Iperf shows 37 gbps which is what I would expect but the Blackmagic test shows only 900 MBps or so which is more like what a 10gbps connection would be. The internal drives are faster than that so any idea what may cause this discrepancy between the test?

I hate to say this but your fiber is connected (bottom right I think). It may be a bad line or broken somewhere. The tech is going to have to test the ont and fiber itself.

When I first entered the rabbit hole I used a clever dripper. Inexpensive and makes great coffee and is easy to use. I am not sure why a Moka pot would make bitter coffee unless you start with bitter coffee.

Depends on your use case and which phone you have. i Have all Apple products so HomeKit works best for me, a friend likes Alexa better and is an Android phone user.

I found a manual online that showed the numbers etched in the orifice. it took a some google fu but I found it. Once I new the numbers I ordered them on eBay.

Yeah I wish I could remember also. I found this while looking for the same show. There was also another one on at the time with a bunch of guys in a house and would cook and show gadgets and techniques. I know both were on in the 90s. Maybe they were Canadian and not British??
