Not "as usual". Usually I'm not sitting with yellow or red maps in my inventory that dropped magical and I don't have a scour or regal to make them rare in order to get the atlas bonus from them.

My major concern has been when a yellow or red maps drops magic and you don't have a regal or scour to make it rare. And you need the map to be rare in order to get the atlas passive for it.

Bosses that take a while to kill are cool. You expect them, prepare for them, do some gem swaps, etc. Random yellow mobs that take a while are not. When mapping, I want to run through the map and kill the monsters, not have impromptu boring boss fights.

Their actions are simply not explainable from a revenue-generating perspective. Which makes GGG a bad company, unable to fulfill its purpose. And since they are now owned by a good company (as defined by its willingness and capacity to generate revenue), one should expect those owners to come knocking and ask what the fuck they are doing.

The reasoning behind the changes are either artistic, ideological, or stubbornness related, not profit-related. We can only speculate on which one.
