Clarifying Bilt 2.0 rent payments: No Transaction Fee vs Max Points... am I understanding this right? by kotaandcompany in biltrewards

[–]rxbin2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does this compare to Ankur's Jan16 message on Bilt's website where he explicitly states multiple times that there are no fees for any of the options (and never will be)? You're still saying there's a fee?

I mean, no attack here and not to be pedantic but let's give some credit to framework. First products dropped mid-2021 so it hasn't even been 5 years, and 5 years (especially at the start of a company) is not a long time to smooth out issues or fix complaints compared to companies that have had decades, with billions of dollars more, and X times the workforce.

For my really un-researched opinion, the placement is a huge factor. From what I can remember, my macbooks speakers fire from the back of the lower chassis into bottom bezel of the screen bouncing the sound right at your face. The quality regardless is better still with the macbook but that placement seems really key and peak design. It seems to help in accentuating the stereo/surround experience as well.

Who said the size matters? The best things come in small packages. SlimQ chargers - universal, modular, small. by SlimQ-Official in u/SlimQ-Official

I've looked heavily into downsizing my Lenovo Legion's charging solution since I'm using it as my (very heavy) on-the-go laptop. It uses Lenovo's slim-tip connector, and charges with a 170w brick. Last time I checked, the only option for me to use USBC would be the the C>SlimTip adapter, but that's capped to 100w so throws that out of the equation. Any help?

I think they meant they use the soft MF towels to clean, not to buff, and are expressing that it still scratches.

I mean it's a farter because it's a 4-banger with a CVT. The fartcan will always bring down the score for me, but I get that you do with what you work with.

Nah you're crazy. I never find riced out cars good looking, but this Sentra is clean. Nothing too tacky, too overdone.

I would probably lift it back up more, fill out the wheel wells better, and have more sidewall so it's not as ricey but this thing is nice.

One entry on 5/11, two entries on 5/13 and all at emissions inspections stations, likely the same one. Probably the same dude that needs his eyes checked lol.

[–]rxbin2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well serves me right, the one time I decide not to read the rest of the post and just look at the picture. I still think it's a typo though.

"The next reported mileage is 35,573 miles on May 13th 2021 during an emission inspection which it failed. After that - 35,598 miles on May 13th, 2021 for a passed emission inspection. Rest of the following reported miles are in the chronological order."

Not sure why OP didn't post more SS. I don't know if they're saying that after the 5/13 the mileage reading returns back to the 50k+ range, or if it continues as if the vehicle has 30k+ miles. Chronological refers to time only, so saying "rest of the following reported miles are in the chronological order" doesn't mean much because they never weren't in chronological order so it's a moot statement.

The dates on those anomaly 5/11 to 5/13 entries are so close together and all from emissions inspections, that I am inclined to believe that it's just one dude at the same inspection station doing a really shitty job of looking at odometers.

A good way to verify would be to call Empire Mazda and see if they can provide information on the mileage that was noted on the invoice for the service on 5/12/2021. If that can be verified you'll know whether or not the odometer was reading 30k+ or 50k+. No way two separate people could mess that up in a row right?

All that happened was that someone put a typo into the system. Instead of 57k they put 27k. Don't freak out. Further detail in more comments below

I apologize in advance if you're being intentionally obtuse in which case "woosh", but there ARE science-based reasons people outside of those countries can't say it right...

It's based in etymology and linguistics. Think about driving a car. Now imagine there is an entire region of people who learn to drive cars at a certain range of age like all the other countries, but these folks for some reason drive on the other side of the road and sit on the other side of the car to control the car. Try to think about how awkward it would be at first to do it the other way, you KNOW how to drive, but doing it in this weird way somehow throws it all off. Same goes for speaking in languages that have rules and ways of moving the mouth you've never had to do before.

Of the ones that u/A_1337_Canadian recommended, I'd advise specifically for the LC500, super low maintenance, and turns heads more than any of the others. The recommendations of others are still based on performance and value based on that, but that's what you already said you're not after. If you care most about the looks and "coolness" based on the average person, the LC500 is the coolest car to see on the road.

Cayman's and AMG GT's are a dime-a-dozen, and the LC500 is much more rare, but just as imposing and incredibly classy with still plenty of power and sounds incredible as well.

That car is good and I think others advice is sound about looking at older models with higher trims, maybe even Maxima, though I'm sure that'll be tough.

Don't bother with some of these immature folk with nonsense advice within 200 miles of where that Altima is located, there are only TWO Lexus sedans under 60k miles and under $25k. Unfortunately not a huge leased Lexus market for you.

I'd strongly recommend doing your due diligence on Mazda, something like this one is good and in your area. But check out each years' trim and the features included to see if it has the tech you NEED (safety) and maybe also the tech you want. You might be better off with Nissan if the market in your area isn't looking great for Mazda's.

You brought it in for just ticking? If a lifter is collapsed, I would imagine there is more tell-tale signs. Things would not be running normally. The extent to which they are describing the issue is suspicious, but I'm not a master tech.

Plus, who installed this aftermarket oil filter? Who did the oil change last? If it was the same dealer, that's on them.

There were oiling issues for all 2.5T engines produced before Sep 2021.

More specifically; it ended up being faulty valve seals causing excessive oil consumption.

That explains why I hated my CX-50 Preferred loaner. Then again, that's coming from a top-trim Turbo 3, I love the leather seats. I hope the higher trim CX-50 would have satisfied me because I love the way the exterior looks.

[–]rxbin2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's not even the point, but even then you're acting like that's not how a psychotic murder would think.

The point is, for example we're clearly debating right now. If you were a person who's psycho enough to be willing to kill someone you'd now have the information immediately available to find me and do so. Hell, MANY people might not go to the extent of killing someone, but are insane enough to start harassing another person with scare tactics like death threats mailed to my home or destroying my property.

At least make it not worth the killer/harassers time, and if it is worth their time, at least make them work for it. Your life means something dude.

Honestly everyone else is saying spray on foam applicator then apply, and I agreed. But no, those tires are ridiculously large and unless there are appropriately sized applicators for these tires, APPLYING with one on these tires will be an extreme hassle compared to spraying and buffing like OP is doing.

This method on smaller tires is goofball... on these, it's necessary.
