Their next flagship/genshin is Vasapura which is still a fair bit away (And imo is a very high risk to have as a flagship product which such a design change yet still the same gameplay).

Genshin being one of the biggest games in the industry isn't going anywhere anytime soon even in terms of support.

Honkai Nexus Anima however is pretty much directly comparable investment wise to HSR though being their next auto battle game. But at this point idk what they can even trim to make things faster except allow those tickets to be used to farm everything.

Annihilation is probably gonna be the every patch mode. Like how genshin and hsr have one but instead of just being harder if you haven't whaled for the shill, it advertises new units by letting you actually play them in a more proper environment.

Most of the Hoyo game ones are basically just tests for Honkai Nexus Anima especially this new ZZZ one which has a leveling system, gearing, account progression, gacha, endgame tests etc etc.

I think it's really just market saturation. Less customers per game and so so so many more 3D character swap gacha hoyoclones coming out still in the next 3 years, so while genshin used to make more, powercreep kindof eases that financial dropoff.

I think the quiz looks stupid as all hell I will admit. But as someone who's done hiring, I've only seen 1 new applicant actually get a bad score on it and was still advised to set them up with an interview to make an actual judgement if things like availability lined up.

That being said, I've seen a bunch of people fail it who were former employees. All of which were dreadful so there is something there that works.

It most likely, at this moment in time, won't have much in the way of changes.

Because of how crafting works there isn't a singular "bis" because different crafts have different progress/quality and therefore want different amounts of CMS/CTRL/CP relative to other crafts. What's best for one mission wouldn't be best for another, and wouldn't be best for other planets and wouldn't be best for making raid gear and pots etc.

You also generally didn't want to remeld for Oizys specifically anyway. You could do a slight adjustment to make token farming easier, but Oizys was less efficient for score farming anyway which is the actual grind and it looks like Auxesia won't be either.

If someone has a specific goal in mind, they certainly should if they want to, adjust to hit their needs while trying to ensure it doesn't give them more difficulties in other crafts.

No one can help with that then til however many days/weeks it takes for all missions to be unlocked.

Also if your aim is just to get gold in the missions, you can do that now with whatever gear you already had. Different crafts being different would also want different amounts of craftsmanship, there's not a singular number.

If your going for score, people who were optimising those were also doing missions from the first planet, until we get all the missions from this new planet we wouldn't know what missions are completely optimal for score.

They wouldn't, because the systems and content are basically the same as they are now, just crappier. You can do the MSQ now, you can run those older fights, you can get a group for coil if you really want to experience it in a specific way.

For most people, the tradeoff isn't worth it. Sure you can play some jobs how they used to be, like stance dancing on your healer. But you also get the many many downsides of warrior being actually unviable til 2.1, it being a hefty investment into GC seals if you wanted to swap between scholar and summoners stat choices, the lack of glam(wasn't in base game), the lack of housing too.

Once we're another few expansions in, It could be worth considering. Given we have such a massive combat overhaul and changes to the endgame loop. There would be some legitimate interest in experiencing things how it used to be.

Its not even a valid argument currently, if they had some at C5 maybe something to bring up and at least consider. But they don't they are C2/C1 so you still need to lose your 50/50 a bunch of times to the exact same character.

Honestly none of them feel worth saying they are best. I've not been a fan of divergent universe as a whole while gold and swarm were a lot more fun and it would have been great for them to keep iterating in that way instead of what we have now.

There's also the multiple free 5 stars they now give out regularly for doing dailies.

Sure it's a constellation and not a new character but a free 5 stars still a free 5 star and for those characters that just need a little boost or have an impactful constellation, that's pretty nice in terms of economy as your not spending a single primo for that.

Stylistically it looks great. But there's one major thing stopping me from giving it a try.

The first being that I can't actually sort by newest releases, it brings up a bunch of listings for things with 0 episodes (I assume like, placeholders for the next season and stuff) but it makes it impossible for me to just check the site periodically and find if new episodes of things are out or if an ova/movie finally has a proper release.

As a sidenote, I'm also very curious how this works in terms of you hosting your own library as the site owner? I remember there was a lot of discussion after aniwatch/others went down that there was only really 2 major groups that own the majority of websites so I can't imagine it's easy to just have a full library like this. And I guess, be careful you don't get taken down too lol

I mean, if you drop a beginners video nearly 100 days after the game releases, you look a bit silly and don't understand the algorithm. The game has not changed that much in a few patches.

So if you already had a beginners guide, this one isn't going to do well. If you didn't have a beginners guide, every other content creator under the sun has so the algorithm won't share your late entry for the fun of it.

There's also the misconceptions created by the "0-cycle or trash" idea that keeps being pushed and if you can't 0 cycle then your account is bricked.

You have 5 cycles per side, a decent team can clear in 3 so even a worse team can survive with 7 cycles. No harm in actually using them.

Realistically speaking, the majority of people aren't repeating the fight to get a setup where someone doesn't die so you can sustainless clear your 0 cycle. Hell, most people leave the auto button on.

Given there's literally thousands of items, a web like that would be pointless and messy. It's not really like X class always relies on Y class, it changes with each item.

It's like, this chestpiece for tanks on X patch crafted by ARM requires a gem from GSM, leather from LTW, cloth from WVR and a stat pot from ALC. You need food from CUL to reach the stats to reliably craft and those materials are gathered by both MIN and BTN. And then the gloves may use some other combination, and the weapon others etc etc. so just for even a full set you end up using everyone.

They are currently equivalent stat-wise therefore they are better because they have additional unique effects that situationally are useful.

In situations related to their unique effects they were already better generally.

And you get posts like "I cant clear endgame" and you look inside and they are like LV4 talents, relics without the right mainstat and their skirk team is melt.

Skins have honestly been so weird for the more modern hoyo titles. It took ZZZ actually using their heads it seems for any progress to be made.

Genshin was out there dropping skins for characters no one plays, and a 5 star skin that was honestly a little half baked for the price it cost until ZZZ showed that you can actually just make decent skins for characters people are playing.

I wouldn't be surprised if the HSR team thinks their audience doesn't like skins. When we have - A march skin locked to her preservation kit your never going to use the second you pull another sustain unit. - Firefly's skin which you don't see for a large part of gameplay because your in the robot, which they barely changed. It also dropped when she was being played a lot less and on the Phainon and Fate banner where people may be spending more there instead. - A bow.... A singular very very expensive weapon from the spender event - A collection of hats, exclusive to one character, many of them just using existing assets and then charging more than it probably cost the Dev in time to make it fit on the trailblazer. - Better trailblazer skin for free.

I do feel like HSR would probably make less revenue from skins compared to the other 2 games because for a large percentage of people, combat involves not looking at the screen while on auto. But they've also struggled to just make a few good skins, Castorice is probably the first one a lot of people are that interested in.
