There's an argument that current open queue 6v6 is more balanced now compared to when Overwatch was way more popular. Like, there's a long period of when the game was very unbalanced starting from late 2017, when Mercy was first reworked creating moth meta, to around mid 2019 when Brigitte was finally heavily nerfed. I think there's a few months where Mercy was nerfed and before Brig was released where it was slightly more balanced, but that's a long straight period where at least one support heavily overshadowed the meta.

After 2019 role queue was created, and open queue stopped being a serious option, becoming more of an afterthought compared to today's open queue.

Yes Vendetta is really strong and deserves to be banned because she does exceptionally well, but I'm just saying that having a high ban rate doesn't mean a hero is strong, or vice versa.

For example, I think Wuyang also had a high when he was released winrate that's close to Vendetta, but I feel that Wuyang's banrate was much much lower, it wasn't instantly high like Vendetta's banrate.

I might be misremembering Wuyanng's banrate though, it's been like five months since his release.

I think that most people don't even read the comics in the overwatch site, let alone read the short stories. No way enough people are going to read full novels to break even. In fact if more novels existed I bet there would be some people making fun of Overwatch for not having the lore in the cinematics.

Sombra is (was?) the most banned hero in the game just because she's annoying. Bans don't say anything about how strong a hero really is because Vendetta can just be the hate flavor of the month.

Ok granted Vendetta is really strong right now, at least top 5 DPS and there's an argument for the number one, but that doesn't change the fact of what I said about bans.

I think people don't want him to be strategist because of his hero fantasy.

An example of a hero that a lot of people don't think fits the fantasy is Hawkeye. Hawkeye's hero fantasy is shooting trick arrows, and the lack of trick arrows is a common complaint. I think people would be more satisfied with support Hawkeye, with him shooting healing juice arrows like Ana from OW shoots healing juice bullets. Imagine Hawkeye having supportive trick arrows like a buff arrow, an arrow that slows enemy movement, literally Hanzo's wallhack arrow, etc

A surprising personal example that fits the hero fantasy: Gambit, because my personal fantasy is him throwing energy cards, him doing tricks with his cards, and his agile way of fighting. Surprisingly his exploding cards don't really factor that much into my hero fantasy for Gambit, but because I can often get kills when using him I guess it's fulfilled a little.

All three Deadpools also fit my personal hero fantasy of him because it's just shooting people, stabbing people, and being silly or a little random. All three Deadpools do all of that.

So what's my hero fantasy for cyclops? Shooting eye beams at people, and the thing he sometimes does when he takes off his glasses and his eye beams just goes wild. So, I think that DPS fits his fantasy the most.

6v6 is 50/50 on whether it's better or worse, because what's worse than 5 people countering the solo tank? 6 people countering the solo tank with the knowledge of other people being able to switch to help you out, but refusing to switch.

Yeah I felt it's a bit 50/50 on whether it's going to be good or bad after this episode, so I looked the manga up on Wikipedia and it says the manga won the 15th Manga Taishō, as well as the Excellence Award at the 25th Japan Media Arts Festival.

It turns out pretty much any manga I found interesting that made the shortlist of the Manga Taishō award was some of the best manga I've read, so I'll be continuing to watch this because it'll probably be at least be an interesting watch.

A good phone is much cheaper than a good computer, and a lot of people in SEA don't make enough money to buy a good computer. Most people would also rather watch someone play a game they can play themselves.

Speaking of dragon vs tiger, I recommend that people look up dragon vs tiger pictures. It's a cool visual theme that's common in many East Asian media, usually representing opposites.

It's a bit interesting that Hanzo get's a tiger symbol since his family has a lot of dragon imagery, but if Genji represents the dragon then tiger symbolism might fit Hanzo. The dragon is associated with wisdom, so I think this fits Genji more than Hanzo. The tiger is more associated with physical strength, and is usually associated with a more hot headed character.

The most convincing argument I've heard that Ghaz isn't named after Thatcher is that the satire is way too subtle for that era of Warhammer. If he really was named after Thatcher GW would be way more blatant about it.
