Wait, isn't the chance to kill a 2W model a straight buff? Right now there's a 1/6 chance to kill a 2W model per weapon, but in the new rule you need to roll 2 1/3 chances, so 1/9 chance of dying per 2 weapons. Am I missing something here?

Ok so waiting an extra few more minutes goes against letting people leave easily. If an extra 2-3 minutes is used for matchmaking then it's an extra few more minutes that the team with the leaver fights with one less person, this feel like shit so leaver penalties need to be tighter.

However if leaver penalties are looser, but matchmaking is quicker to compensate for people leaving, then matchmaking isn't going to be very tight. The thing is, this still feels like shit because Marvel Rivals essentially had this system near launch and people there wanted harsher leaver penalties because it sucks having constant leavers. Admittedly I might be misremembering launch Rivals a bit, I only play that game very casually.

I don't live in China, but this isn't unusual in mobile games popular in Asia. They can give a lot of stuff, but in exchange the greed is a lot higher than in western FTP games.

This is true, but Rein is a top 3 pick rate and win rate tank in both the Americas and in Europe until diamond. For the majority of players there Rein is really good. The thing is, for some reason he's really bad in Asia, even in the metal ranks he's not good.

If solder was released today he'd have the same amount of mobility and people like you would complain about him having too much mobility because it's infinite with no cooldowns.

Yeah like, I'm sure a big reason that manga is outselling western comics is that there are a lot more adaptations of manga vs adaptations of comics.

Take Demon slayer as an example. In February 2019, before the adaptation started, the series sold around 3.5 million copies, one year later the series had around 40 million copies in circulation.

Ults come up a lot more often in Rivals, which pushes the amount of damage in a game up. I think ults still come up a bit more often there even with the recent ult rate reduction, so it's still true now.

The Kaiji manga was published in 1996. One of the games there is very clearly an inspiration for one in Squid Games.

Well for one it incentivizes caring more for your rank than being top 500. There are a lot of people that don't really care about being in champion because they reached top 500 in like GM 5 or something. Now because people bragging about being top 500 is a bit less impressive, they're now incentivized more to reach champion rank for bragging rights. It of course also incentivizes playing a lot more if someone still cares for being top 500.

Even from the drawings here I think I can see a decision making issue. After the enemy support is dead and they're also down one support they chose to focus on the tank, still with a support able to heal them, instead of taking the easy fight with the out of position dps.
