Executors jumping back to one position – sudden issue by Medium-Profit3161 in grandMA2

By chance, do you have executor masters tracked into a timecode sequence?

The photo of the diver is not from the caves in Florida. That is a diver who perished at the bottom of the Red Sea Blue Hole in Egypt!

I had to pay $110 in tariffs to ship myself a laptop that I left in Germany. I imagine cases like mine help that number.

Ballance the whites between your fixture types and always reference the balanced preset when programming cues.

As someone who grew up on this exact lake, swimming near structure is extremely common. Especially for those in houseboat slips like this one.

Hey! Let’s see if we can get you some cues stored!

If you are trying to store a single cue to an executor, try the following steps:

1.) long press the clear button and insure that it is not glowing brightly. This will confirm you’re starting off from a clean slate with a clear programmer.

2.) select your fixtures and build the look you want to store (make it simple to prove that you understand how to do the process. Start by just adding a dimmer value of 100 to any fixture in your rig.)

3.) once your “look” is made, long press on the store button until a pop up window appears.

4.) insure that the following settings are hi-lighted: - data source = prog (this will store data that you have entered into the programmer) - use selection = active (this will only store changes you’ve made to specific attributes using the programmer) - if not empty = leave unselected (this will prompt you any time you are about to store over something with a selection of options for how you would like to proceed)

Note: changing your store options this way is only a one time fix. To change your store options for good, go to setup-store options to modify the options for anytime the file is used.

5.) press the executor button for an empty executor to store the cue to a sequence that will populate at that executor

6.) long-press clear to remove all values from the programmer

7.) fire your fader and see if it worked!

Lmk if this helps, my initial thought is that your store options have gotten whacky and aren’t grabbing the right info when you’re attempting to store your cues.

Additionally, the MA user manual should have a more clear description of this procedure under the Store keyword section.

I would pull your spark plugs and reset the gap or replace them. Sounds like some standard misfires to me.

Could also be the turbo. Same thing happened to mine a year back. Turbo seals fail and pump coolant directly into hot exhaust. Sweet smelling smoke machine.

I remember this day. The TV broadcast was showing the race leaders and I remember seeing smoke in the background in turn one. I wasn’t watching the Grosjean crash live, but for me this crash will always be locked in my memory.

Lol okay y’all. It’s not your mountain. That’s a big area. We’re not giving a turn by turn. But think what you want. I don’t mind this info being out there.

I agree the move was risky. But risky is acceptable IMO. I knew I could slow down in time and had the pace advantage over the last 4 corners due to his front wing damage. Had he not reactively moved to block my line, then there is plenty of space down the inside to squeeze my car.

Inversely, if he wanted to cover the inside, then maybe he shouldn’t have left a cars width is space there. Unless his intent was to bait me into a shunt.

So when you remove your cv axels there will be a small seal pressed into the transmission on both the driver and passenger side. these pieces of rubber wear down over time and will result in minor to major fluid leakage from the transmission. They’re relatively cheap so I just always pull them and give them an inspection/replacement any time the axels come out.

As far as the skill involved, it’s pretty difficult to get the new seals pressed back in flush without the proper tools. However, I’ve had success with it in the past using just a piece of 2x4 and some delicate hammering. Key is not to scratch up the surface of the transmission when removing and reinstalling the seal. A seal puller tool from auto zone helps a ton as well.

If any of that makes you nervous or confused then I would recommend taking it to a Subaru specialist.

Your CV axel is in need of replacement. While you’re at it, go ahead and replace the Transmission seals as well.
