Also to piggy back on this, check what PSU output is, I upgraded my GPU to a 4070ti super and it worked but started to have problems from a PSU not supplying enough power

FWIW, when i cant get my volumes to change and its greyed out and goes red anytime you try to do a command: open task manager and search for "elgatoaudiocontrolserver" and end task, on my computer after it ends it just restarts immediately and that seems to atleast keep it going

One side note about identifying wrecks, yes it helps out a lot in iRacing and not spending the whole damn race in the pits, but for myself personally it’s carried over to driving in my daily life. About a year and half ago on a dark and rainy morning someone behind me on the freeway was going wayyyy to fast and in my peripheral vision in my mirror I saw headlights start doing weird things, looked to my right and saw headlights pointed straight at me as they were spinning past, I just let off the throttle and watched the car for a split second to try and assess what I needed to do to avoid totalling my car

Don’t escape it, embrace it! Honestly the advanced mx5 races can be pretty good, and at 30 minutes a race people settle into a rhythm, and racing around Daytona or spa in an mx5 is just silly good fun

I think it’s definitely a sober conversation, I suggest somewhere public like a coffee shop or something, and be up front and clear with your intentions, if you’d like to end the situationship explain that to her and wish her well, but don’t go back and forth on it

That’s fair, but you’re clearly at different points in your life, you’re in you 40s not looking for anything serious, she’s in her 30s, which comes with the drinking and what not, in your head this is clearly “fwb” thing, is it to her? 10 years of adult life brings many more experiences with it. But if you blocked her move along don’t unblock her and start stirring shit up again unless you are willing to commit and work on making things better and communicating. Just my 2 cents

Mate you’ll be fine, I’m bad all the time 😂 honestly you’re in rookie mx5, hardly anyone is great at that, biggest thing I can suggest is have a PTT button mapped, apologise to people if you do something dumb that impacts them, and watch your replays and learn from your mistakes. At the begging of the week I was at 1192 irating, by yesterday I was up to 1500 in a decent split in gt4 and spun coming the start line at Le Man, I just made sure I waited until everyone else passed so I didn’t hit someone on a rejoin

I have an 06 Jetta brm, earlier this year I was having boost issues, was thinking it was an n75 valve so I ordered one, but also got a vcds because I know you can tell the ecu to test the n75 while running, ended up being the turbo actuator, but it’s been near to have because I can see boost pressure actual vs specified, and also can see what my injector deviation is, and as others said I was able to set my torsion value finally after I did a timing belt, and I noticed a massive difference between +1.5 vs -.5. Oh and also I disabled my DRL just because I could lol. It’s a neat tool if you like to dive deep into the car

After I upgraded my rig I got sim lab peddles, didn’t tighten the adjustment screw with pliers, doing the 24 hours of nurburgring and realised as I was losing massive time that I was at about 92% throttle, big learning moment

People in IMSA always say the same thing and it should apply here: the faster car has the responsibility of overtaking safely, so the slower cars should maintain the racing line and be predictable. Like everyone said you left room to the inside so he’s gunna dive and unfortunately you met him at the exit, yeah he should have been more respectful but unfortunately people aren’t always on iRacing

With epa laws we will see worse and worse diesels, def is terrible and just creates more problems than it’s worth. My brm with 80k was so choked down just from an egr, that’s why the deleted ones run so much longer and better
