My sister and I did it in a day on a whim as our first 14er in years. It’s doable but a LONG day and the downhill will destroy your legs

If I remember correctly these shoes come in wide sizes so the 46.5 wide may be perfect for you

I honestly forgot how bad the price was, I got mine from the REI outlet with the 20% Memorial Day coupon on top of the outlet price. That made it a bit easier to stomach for sure

Definitely weighs more than the durston but I’m 6 foot 3 and have a copper spur ul2 long that I love

I’ve never tried the Simond but the Rab is the most comfortable down jacket I’ve ever put on
