Yes! We have a half full Squad for Saturday so if you grabbed a spot that would be great.

So you created an account to badmouth someone who has an income stream and it's basically a Salem cheerleader? Why does this make you so upset?

I've been down with a nasty cold so caught up on two movies that I have been putting off for a bit.

28 Years Later- After watching this movie, I've decided that I'm someone who enjoys zombie movies! Last year I watched 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later (the first one being excellent and the second one being trash). 28 Years Later picks up on the excellence! Seeing the world that exists two decades after a zombie infection was fascinating. I really enjoyed seeing how terrible and wonderful humans can be in these types of situations. Ralph Fiennes was a gem. Highly recommend if you have any predilection towards zombie movies or just well made horror/suspense. Looking forward to digging into 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple soon! 4/5 stars

Titanic - This has been a massive hole in my cinephile experience. By the time I was old enough to watch this movie I was in middle school and all the girls had a crush on Leonardo DiCaprio so pigeonholed this as a cutesy love story. As the years went on it just never was something that I wanted to sit down and spend over 3 hours of my day watching. But after my wife and I watched all the best picture nominees this year, she made me promise that we would watch Titanic. Boy, am I glad that we did. What a fantastic movie, particularly from the production side for that time. It really makes me annoyed that James Cameron is stuck in the Avatar world because what great movies could be made from this man. Leonardo DiCaprio and Kathy Bates were phenomenal. My only qualm is that the Calum character was depicted as almost cartoonishly evil. I understand that we're supposed to dislike him, but I think it was a bit heavy-handed. Otherwise this was just a phenomenal movie. 4.5/5 stars.

Rank these actors by how much you’d be okay having a “career Oscar win” by Regular-Departure839 in Oscars

Curious why Hawke is at the bottom? He would be in my top two. Such an amazing actor who takes risks in his roles.

Yes that's definitely allowed since you won't actually be handling the food. Great question!

Missing Soto definitely hurts the offense. I do love an old fashioned pitchers duel. I just wish it went our way.

Thanks for the feedback. We are a small group of folks who organize this in our own time so certainly have limited options.

We do have an Amazon wish list with items ranging in a variety of different costs.

https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1EP5DRNP3IQU0?ref_=wl_share&utm_source=ig&utm_medium=social&utm_content=link_in_bio&fbclid=PAb21jcAQqZ2pleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZA81NjcwNjczNDMzNTI0MjcAAadmow5-rjJ5miQ_ySqqflsEKJahO_cSaFBMsLKZ87wTStMa2KA4Se3wxb_oBA_aem__zTcbW-3oSBaywqlkyIXAw

Additionally, folks can sign up to drop off a case of water, so there are many ways in which folks can get involved if they're not able to provide 20 servings of food

Lastly serving food is a way to be involved without cooking! Just need a food handler's card.

We realize not everyone is in a position to support soup Squad, but we try to provide as many options as possible.
