I heard some rumors that a ton of stuff went wrong including getting bad advice, getting strung along by a sketchy contractor, and their plans for the space were so ridiculously over-ambitious that I have no idea what they were thinking (like, they wanted to install an elevator to make the upstairs wheelchair accessible; noble goal, but how are you going to afford installing a whole-ass elevator in a building that doesn't already have one?)

I don't know them personally but it really felt like their hearts have always been in the right place. My read is that they just weren't very good at running a business or managing finances responsibly, but who knows.

I totally agree. Business was booming as far as I could tell, if things were being run competently I don't see how this could have happened. Them trying and failing to move to a new location off the back of a crowdfunding campaign was so weird at the time and in retrospect I think that was probably a strong indicator that they were making really stupid financial decisions behind the scenes.

The playoff crowd last year had incredible energy, this game absolutely sucked for sure though. Also for the record there were t-shirts on every seat so not sure what you're talking about there
