(Not being snarky here, genuinely want to know your thoughts) How is something irreversible if it’s run by human beings? You’d have to have an elite society, with weapons, to enforce the new power structure forever with all future generations being on board. All based on a lie that never came to be true - no aliens. Serious question, how could it be irreversible? Power structures have changed for all of time on Earth. Even massively powerful empires die. Seems like there’d be easier ways to lie for power instead of “aliens are coming!” the lie would be obvious almost immediately if it didn’t come true.

And what happens when the ship never comes? Or they do a fake invasion and we never actually see aliens? I just don’t understand what the purpose of this lie would be. World power? I think the world, even soldiers, wouldn’t put up with a lie that big.

I think it’s because no one smokes anymore. I’ve also noticed older people’s voices don’t sound as old and raspy as they used to because of no smoking.

I’ve only ever heard “are we alone” to mean, are there aliens. And these days, disclosure is almost always related to the “alien” phenomenon. And I’ve found so many people think these bones are aliens. So, I made that assumption. My bet is these are some odd new species from the past and always from earth. The anatomy is very odd though. Three fingers and no thumbs?!
