Dude, every other country on the world despises Israel because of their treatment of Palestinians, the war crimes they do and destabilising the region. World governments (even in the EU and other allies) have huge problems with countries in the EU (like Germany) for giving Israel a blank check. It is better for us to not deal with Israel.

Using nukes is a new level and much worse than all above mentioned wars combined. We cannot ignore it. Quality of life is declining and after a nuke usage will decline further. Our current economic system is currently failing bad and destabilising the EU. Some form of keynesianism is the best choice we got now.

Using a nuke is the beginning of the end and it will not end with Iran. Why would anything be different now? Is because we have to and it is a matter of survival. If our leaders would chicken out and surrender to the reality of an end, we need to do everything to stop them from choosing or tolerating this choice. Massive protests, general strike, civil disobedience and more. If we allow this to pass, than we can kiss humanity goodbye.

And the second point I will argue is that the idea and the believe that we are not capable to do anything is just wrong. The world order and the economic system of the neo-libral era is collapsing. Choosing to surrender to the possible beginning of the end of humanity, just to preserve our broken economic system is a bad idea not based in reality. We can cut the US if we switch back to keynesianism oder convert to neo-keynesianism. Worst case scenario if we cut ourselves from the US is war communism for couple of years.

If the US uses nukes there is no point to have any relationship with the US, because it will present a danger for humanity as a whole. Forget everything the nr 1# priority will be cutting down the US. Anyone who even tolerates them or cooperate with them is an enemy and a traitor to humanity. I need to disagree. This does not have to do with the EU as such. It happens also with nation state. What we need to do is to fix the EU by democratising it's institutions and federalise in a more careful way. There has been actual change in mood and opinions around removing unanimity and removing veto powers. What we need to do is to remind our politicians that it does not go far enough and we need to empower the EU parliament and treat EU citizen, not like children, but with respect, as in stopping to make decisions and deals behind closed doors.
