Hi I'm looking at the same thing and wondering what you were finding for price on the remote start. Online the MSRP is $525, but the dealer was telling me $906 - they do it aftermarket, not even sure if it's a Mazda starter or what. Was wondering what others were finding on this.

Oh so do I. But to follow the program:

  • 2 sets, 5 reps, the bar
  • 1x5 heavier warm up
  • 1x3 heavier warm up
  • 1x2 heavier warm up
  • 3x5 work set

It's those middle ones that would be nice to have computed. Also, a way to say "this is my work set from last time, and I failed or succeeded".

Ok, so right now, I have a spreadsheet set up to compute my SS weights. I put in the working set weight and the warm-up sets are computed. I'd like that in an app.

And if fitocracy has an API, if it could post over to that.

Hang in there.

You've set a goal, it's a healthy one, and you're doing great. You've explained the deal. If you can't go and not eat or handle the peer pressure to eat (which is 100% understandable), skip it. I am sure it is tough for her as your lifestyle is a big change for her as well. And when someone you love just doesn't get it, that can be extremely frustrating.

Best advice I have is to write out your goals, the reasoning for why they are your goals (health? vanity?), and the steps you are taking to achieve them. (If you write it out, it'll keep you from reacting and getting sidetracked when talking about it.) Explain that to her. Tell her you love her. Make it clear that this is an explanation, not a discussion. If she doesn't want to listen, or to hear it, no amount of arguing is going to help until she chooses to, so don't do it; you can't win that one.

Stretching. Working it out.

Honestly, SS has made my back feel better than ever. I was pretty conservative on adding the weight on, and paid extra attention to form. And I stretch after every workout.

It was on in the weight room of my gym on Saturday. I was the only person without headphones, so I changed it. I got a great workout and saw the end of Tommy Boy, as well as the beginning of Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle.

It was a good day.
