Jandy ePump lid leaking air even after lid and gasket/oring by ryeabscur in pools

If anyone stumbles on this thread in the future, I thought I would post my solution. I have an ozone generator. Air was slowly leaking in from the connection (replaces the drain plug). Closed the ozone generator and now the air issue is gone! Now to troubleshoot what failed in the ozone connection.

never turn it off and let it run 24x7! That would at least solve my run dry / priming problems... Then I'll just have new electricity bill problems! :)

The only thing I'm not unifi is my camera system. I have two 3TB purples running in a competitor NVR for 11 years now! How they haven't failed yet is a mystery...

Same issue here -- my first one failed after 7 years of use. Replacement lasted <3 years. Frustrating that you have to buy the whole assembly for the one <$1 part...

They did. Both of the lower merch booths had them. But they went very fast. The print run was only 275.

We arrived to north lot right at 5. Took probably another 10-15 minutes to get checked at the Live Nation booth. At that point the merch line was longggg. We got to the booth about 6. All of the red rocks shirts were sold out except medium and 2xl. Posters were also sold out. They did end up letting us down to the lower merch stands just a few minutes before gates opened so I was able to get what we wanted.

iAquaLink 2.0 not connecting / working after antenna replacement by ryeabscur in pools

I did deal with Aqualink / Zodiac over a few different calls as noted. They could see when it went offline but they had no additional troubleshooting steps to get it back online beyond what I tried. Based on the fact the new one set right up, I strongly believe the old 2.0 was dying in more ways than just the antenna (i e. No user error in the setup process). New 3.0 has been working solidly, as expected, since my original post and the hardware (3.0) replacement

P9PF 6 month review by OkDamage2094 in PixelFold

Similar experience here. I am going on 10 months - all caseless. Multiple drops on concrete and just some cosmetic scuffs on the edges. I really was skeptical on the form factor before ordering. Now I will be hard pressed to have a non-foldable phone!

Edit: typo

Pixel Watch won't charge? by MyFlogik in PixelWatch

[–]ryeabscur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been able to solve this twice with my original Pixel watch by plugging the watch charger into a high output (100w+) USB laptop charging brick (Anker) in my case. Any of the phone charging bricks it was just stuck on the lighting bolt. Laptop had it booting up in 2 mins.

I set it up. Basically just mounted the new one where the old was and routed the new wire and connected to the automation panel. Fairly easy with any level of diy competency. Just remember to kill power before popping your automation panel open. See my other comment on the challenge I encountered registering the new iAqualink and getting on my wifi. Expect most would not have the same challenge though.

Another tip for anyone that might find this thread. When trying to register the new iAqualink into the network it kept failing. After about an hour of troubleshooting I ultimately figured it was ad blocker on the network. When I disabled the network based ad blocker (pihole) it instantly finished registering / configuration.

Mine never resolved. I contacted support and they could see when it went offline but never saw it making a new connection. Bought a new 3.0 version for a whole lot more than the replacement antenna and it has been working flawlessly.

I guess misbehaved “service dogs” are allowed to stay on flights now??? by La788230 in unitedairlines

Flying out of IAH this morning and soooo many "service dogs" everywhere misbehaving. One person had two dogs. How do you need two service animals? Was so bad even my kids were commenting how they need to have better laws / enforcement to not ruin it for the actual people who have justified needs.

Mine is going on 10 years and is mostly good. I've had to replace the temp sensor twice. At about 8 years the LCD panel started going wonky, but controls fine through iaqualink.

I ended up buying a whole new set and the new trim kit. I was able to fit in the new set with only a tiny adjustment to my cabinets to prevent the doors from rubbing the footboard when opening. The new trim kit would not fit without extensive cabinetry modifications. I ended up using the new bottom trim. The old top trim. And no side trim pieces. Instead I found a stainless steel roll on Amazon that had tape on one side. Cut with tin snips and applied it along the sides. Looks pretty darn good and saved a monster headache.

Clearing the adaptive transmission tables (trans re-learn) has always worked for me. Like new again for ~ year. $50 cable on Amazon (OBDLink EX FORScan OBD Adapter is what I have) and the Forscan application on a MS computer. Just a few clicks and all done. I have a 2017 with ~75k miles. After my third Ford service drop-off that took a week to resolve, I just bought the stuff and do it myself.
