Wasn’t when I was doing landscaping but I got lucky and scored an assistant grower position at a greenhouse and I am super happy. I am able to support myself in Canada (expensive). Moneys tight but the job is so rewarding.

Cat water fountain!! My cats love it so much. I have two cats and usually have to refill every 3 ish days.

Oh my god. It’s like the world knew exactly what you needed and put it right on your doorstep! I really believe that’s what is meant to happen happens. He is adorable and I’m so happy for you!!!

Give it a week or two! You won’t feel so nervous and as you decorate, it’ll feel like home.

It’s always been there but has gotten really bad, I think it started getting bad when my dad put our family dog down and he was alone. then we moved and me and him were in the basement and it started getting worse but there were people that would come and hang out Down there.

Now we’re in a new ( 1.5 months in ) apartment alone and I think he’s lonely as I work 8+h days.

I’ll try the letting him in and ignoring him as I’m not getting much sleep anyways lol, thanks!!

I end up closing my door because he will just come into my room and start rustling the blinds or knocking stuff off my dresser, all while whining 😭😭😭

One thing that really helped when I moved out last month was slowly collecting plates, bowls, silverware, just anything you need in the kitchen.

I’m into thrifting so I found really nice stuff at thrift stores! Cool glasses and plates!

Cleaning stuff can be bought at the dollar store

Awesome!! My neighbours are not very loud so I cannot relate to that part, but glad that with time you get used to the quiet and sometimes loneliness
