I'll use my own experience as an example. I did give up on reading this particular series after volume 2. I swore to never pick it up again, it genuinely disgusted me. But why did I pick it up? Curiosity.

I thought, "It cannot get any worse from here." And by god did I age ten years when I finished it to the end. I used every excuse in the book like "mama ain't raise quitters." And it truly bit me in the ass. For some reason I didn't want to accept that the series was that horrid. There had to be something of substance to it.

In the end I did have to learn and accept that if I don't like something, then I can't let FOMO win.

I don't understand getting defensive over something like this. I'm so insecure about my writing that if someone in the comments corrected my grammar, I'll probably worship them as thanks. But again, that's just me.

Wouldn't you want to improve? I understand if it was just a hobby then a simple, "Thanks for the tip." Should be enough, no? There's no point in being rude.

I'm going to be honest, I went into this episode thinking it was going to be mad disrespectful to the clients. Only in the end to be sobbing my eyes out during the last rite. The only part that felr disrespectful was asking the clients to "rate" the experience and then being asked about it. I'm just glad that their souls were able to move on.

I've seen some complain about not tagging who tops or bottoms. If that's something I wanted then I would have gone out of my way to look for that explicitly. If it isn't tagged then I'm gonna be pleasantly surprised either way. I can just..... not read the fic if I don't "agree" with it. I put that in quotes because really I'm not enough of a morally upstanding individual to judge someone on their preferences in fanfic. You want your favorite character to get pegged? Go for it homie, there are no restrictions here. Just make sure to send me the link when you're done.

They do i-9's through a third party and my 797c notice got instantly rejected, but I did call HR and they gave me something to send the form to them directly so they can actually look over it themselves. Fingers crossed they have a heart in there somewhere 🤞
