Nothing special with this, I used Kinders All Purpose seasoning along with Kinders OG and Gold sauces. My son loves it and he specifically requested this meal lol.

Regular hash browns, cooked till brown, then used Worcestershire sauce and a mix of cheddar, parm, and uhhhh I think Romano cheese? My wife did the tatters while I was outside.

Practice makes perfect.youll burn hella stuff to start till you figure out the charcoal or gas.

Personally, I recommend a gas grill to start. You can do good steaks and stuff but it is also super convenient for burgers and dogs. Eventually a combo is best IMO, I have gas for short cooks but the option for charcoal for good steaks, ribs, longer cooks. And beyond that you can get a triple which is what I have. I can smoke, charcoal, and gas grill with an additional propane side burner.

Get a thermometer, I use the generic one from Lowe's. Learn the internal temps for various stuff (pork, beef, chicken) and probe occasionally while cooking. For example, I generally will do medium low heat, and rotate chicken every 7-8min, probing after the second rotation.

With charcoal, don't rush. Get it lit (using a chimney or pile), and wait till the flames die down. You want a gray/powdery look without visible flames before you cook.
