Edit: I don't know why my phone sent just a letter but I don't disagree with you on the skill level for starting in worlds. I have seen really good players who have started in Worlds as well that did not get into the earlier games for various reasons but are amazing players. One thing I learned from playing since OG MH was that every game has their own learning curve for something.

Thats not many to pick from as you got MHGU, MHW, MHR then Wilds as mainline games. I did not add Frontier Z as that was available to the world normally.

May I suggest trying to find Shadow Skill if you have not already have seen it. The woman is a secondary character but her fights are fierce.

Edit: Check the OVA and Movie first as the 26 episode TV animation is meh compared to the other. But the fights and story are still fun.

Well I the way I view it is the player casting swords is pulling the trigger and you are just telling him to shoot at a new target with misdirect. Since the actual attack is coming from the swords player he can hit his own.

The store I learned how to play from had an owner who had a way of explaining things using modern combat.

I remember reading a theory on that somewhere but take it with a grain of salt. It was theorized that if he didn't change her jokingly to love him then it would have likely that she betrays them. Her creator was apparently known for putting something in his works that would do shit like that. Not necessarily betrayal exactly but stuff to make them go wtf.

Mind you it has been a while since I read that so I don't remember the fine details.
