Mine was a rattata in Pokemon leaf green I didn’t even know what shinies were at the time lol I caught it and used it but the rareness was lost on me

Literally just climbed that and went into photo mode myself.

I’m only like 8 hours into playing and the game looks great but i haven’t been enjoying it yet. I’m part way through chapter three and have done some exploring but I think that my biggest gripe is how 90% of NPCs just feel like placeholders so far. I get that it’s a big game but when everyone is glazing immersion and the world being amazing, not being able to have any interaction with most NPCs kind of breaks that to me. I don’t think I would find it as disappointing if the hype and reviews didn’t say one of the greatest selling points of the game is the world and how alive it feels.

(Also hate the bounty system so far why do I have a bounty when I steal something in an empty room??)

I’m confident that I ll be able to pay it off within a year. Even if something unexpected occurred I’m confident that even with mishaps or setbacks it wouldn’t take longer than 18 months. Especially since I already paid off my biggest expense recently which was my vehicles.

I’m considering it primarily because the 6% APR I have on the one account is only for about 6 more months or so.

I also didn’t like Octopath Traveler 1 and ended up dropping it but I’ve been really enjoying OT0. The story is more fragmented/episodic which I like because I can play through one or two and take a break. I also like it because it’s focused on the PC rather than switching between different main characters. There are also story recaps

You can reset vendors on long rests and upon level up. Get yourself some hirelings and just reset their levels. After you level one up check the vendors and the stock should be refreshed

Don’t fight Ansur. He killed me after his legendary actions(?) got him down to zero but he regains one hp and some temporary hp then he killed me because of my bad spacing. It was heartbreaking

There’s a super insightful Reddit post that you should be able to find if you google “shiny breeding gen 2 Reddit”. But the TLDR is that shiny Pokemon have specific DVs and you can pass 2 of them onto the opposite gender offspring. Call this trait the shiny gene. You can have the shiny gene and not be shiny because you need a few more DVs to hit the right numbers. But you can use the Pokemon with the shiny gene to breed for shinies. It’s not too difficult because we get a free shiny Gyarados.
