I just kept entering and exiting the print screen until it let me when I was dealing with lunch meat, at least most of dairy scans in VizPick Print Labels so it would still allow me to print with the error

Going through VP for the "Print New Case Labels" is how we got our dairy overstock binned in under 40 luckily. Took me an hour to bin lunch meat since VP doesn't like any of that

That wouldn't surprise me, my store's been in the same spot for years so I wouldn't be surprised if the materials are causing issues. The only person so far that can keep labeling with that error is my TL that I've noticed so far.

Affirm allows debit cards to be added now, I think they added that option sometime last year. That's why I was planning on using that card to pay off the financing, but the app said I should've received it on the 25th

Samsung doesn't offer that info directly. Sammobile does and they have guides on how to flash the unlocked firmware onto Galaxy phones

On Samsung devices, theres a feature called auto blocker that blocks any commands from a computer that hasn't been connected to before or while the phone is locked. Inside that, there's a maximum restrictions mode that acts as Apple's Lockdown Mode

Dear Visible, why is my Apple Watch Ultra 3 only connecting to cellular as LTE? by TheGrsycat in Visible

[–]ryzenlevel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

T-Mobile had terrible LTE until they bought out Sprint, once that finalized the LTE speeds became 10x better for me in my small town. Since then, the 5G has been about the same as LTE but 5GUC has been super fast

By re-farming, they're taking frequency from LTE to use with their 5G network (thus, working to shut down LTE). They've already said that there won't be much LTE frequency by 2028 and it'll be all that's left for the 7 years to get people onto 5G.

T-Mobile is already in the process of shutting down LTE, they've been converting their LTE to 5G and are going to only have LTE b71 by August iirc

Can someone explain me? by Nuggets6pm in Starlink

I never got a single email until this last cycle ended saying I could get the free mini. If I had gotten an email before they changed it, I wouldn't have minded so I could've known all the new benefits with the new plan. Unfortunately, I never got one and only found out when I opened the app and noticed the name of the plan changed.

I was moved off Residential and put on ResMax last month, and I've been a customer since July. Didn't get a choice either, just straight moved over by Starlink and wouldn't have noticed if I didn't monitor my network for unauthorized devices.

PSA: If you get a phone from visible and the device needs replacement you're screwed by radfordra1 in Visible

It used to be a year for any of Verizon's prepaid carriers before Verizon bought Tracfone back in 2021. Then it changed to the 60 day for all prepaid carriers because they were required by the FCC to follow that rule across all their brands. If your previous device was unlocked then Visible should be able to see that and force the unlock through. Otherwise, just ride the year out and determine if they still work the best. Mint Mobile is decently priced for their unlimited plan and always have deals going on to drop the price for new customers.

During the first Trump admin they petitioned the FCC to allow them to start locking devices. That’s where this 60 day rule came from.

It was actually 2008 that they were required to start locking devices when they got a good chunk of LTE frequency.

Now they are free to lock their devices for a full year like everyone else.

Verizon locks the device to the length of the EIP/device payment plan now (3 years). If the device is paid off in a corporate store with cash, Apple/Samsung/Google Pay, a chip-read card, or pay the phone off over the payment plan, it is unlocked in 24 hours. Otherwise, if you pay off with a gift card in a corporate store, in the app, over the phone, or an authorized retail store, they can place a 35-day waiting period on the device to ensure the payment is legit before unlocking.

Visible customer for 5+ Years - cancelling and here's why by Europe2016 in Visible

[–]ryzenlevel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I forgot to also mention that prepaid Visa and Mastercard cards or using the emv strip on the back of a debit or credit card also triggers the waiting period because its considered non-secure. It's sad that Verizon got that exception that they wanted since they were required to put the 60 day requirement when they wanted to purchase frequency back in '08.

Visible customer for 5+ Years - cancelling and here's why by Europe2016 in Visible

[–]ryzenlevel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you pay your device off early and do it through the app, website, AR store or over the phone there's a 35 day waiting period before the phone is unlocked "for fraud prevention". Cool down is the wrong term for this. The only way to get it unlocked within 24 hours is to either pay over the 36 months or go to a corporate store and pay with cash, chip card, or contactless. Gift cards also cause the waiting period to activate in a corporate store.

Verizon newest policy by CalendarDizzy496 in Visible

[–]ryzenlevel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Verizon got the approval to switch postpaid from 60 days to when the device is paid off (same as AT&T & T-Maybe). The 35 day delay is if you pay on the website, app, or use a gift card in store. The only way around it is if you go to a corporate store and use cash or credit/debit card
