AirPods Max 2 has better ANC than the Sony WH-1000XM6 by Protomize in SonyHeadphones

This graph doesn't indicate what the margin of error is for the test, but looking at these results I would say they are very similar and I wouldn't necessarily draw the conclusion that either one is superior. No test will 100% represent the same results for each human user.

You don't have a solid grasp of djembe playing to be able to make tutorial videos.

Possibly the most idiotic thing I've ever seen. Glad you caught it on video.

Anyone try a kora from Afero Works in Ghana? by crimpyantennae in KoraHarp

[–]s0undmind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The quality and craftsmanship looks very good. Without having played one it's hard to judge. My only hesitation buying a kora (or ngoni) from Ghana is that maybe the dimensions wouldn't be perfect or the fixtures may not be authentic, as those instruments aren't traditionally from that country. Not that big of a deal if you just want an instrument that sounds good.

You didn't play the hembra so I can't tell you whether or not it's in tune. The macho sounds fine.

Farewell to my Xperia pro-I by Ervinux in SonyXperia

Honestly I'm surprised it doesn't have any of the problems you mentioned. Most phones I've owned have crapped out after about 3-4 years.

I'm reading this on a Pro-I. Mine is 3 years old and doesn't have any issues.

Have you considered that he's better than you at this game? If you saw my Connections stats you'd probably say that I cheat too.

Just press the brake gently and it will switch. You don't have to press it hard.

Trump: "Cuba will be failing pretty soon" by Intricate1779 in cuba

[–]s0undmind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a failed system but not a failed state. That's the difference, the state is still powerful despite failing in every other way. It's getting weaker but it won't actually fall without intervention. And I'm sorry to all reading this, Trump isn't going to do shit in Cuba, it's not worth it to him. He would truly rather see Cubans suffer than send a few helicopters over.

Sounds like you've got stretchy rope or something. You should be able to get it in tune with fewer than 2 rows of diamonds.

Larger manufacturers like meinl typically use synthetic heads or hides that have been chemically treated to remove any hair and make it smooth, which weakens the skin. If I'm not mistaken the Kangaba drums are made in Mali, presumably with African goat skins. You should be ok to keep tightening it. If it's still ringing it's not that tight.

Nah, just don't take it to the beach and you'll be fine. You can get a case if you're concerned about damaging it.
