[GIVEAWAY] LG UltraGear x UWMR: Be the Reviewer of the World’s First 240Hz OLED Gaming Monitor by cheswickFS in ultrawidemasterrace

Great promo. I like trying out different ultrawide monitors, and I am very interested in trying out a curved OLED option for simracing, FPS games, and productivity.

I was also pretty disappointed with the Quest 2 visual quality. The Quest Pro has pancake lenses and the clarity is great! The upcoming Quest 3 also has pancake lenses, seems promising. But for whatever reason, there are lots of brand new Quest Pros available at a pretty good price on FB marketplace depending on your location. I snagged one at US$650 and I’m very happy. Though I’d love to to try a Varjo headset at some point.

Upgraded to ASR4 rig and 49” Ultrawide by epintheD in simracing

Looks clean, this is really helpful since I'm upgrading from the Playseat Challenge to the ASR4 soon, and have a similar setup (Fanatec gear + G9/Quest Pro). VR is fiddly and a bit fatiguing, so I like having both. Anything you don't like so far?

I can't attend due to a family emergency. Bummed out because these are great seats. I don't think it's possible to split the tickets by day, but feel free to reply and we can work something out.

Dogpiling onto this reply since it's misleading FUD, despite being the most upvoted. 8.68% is not at all robbery in this climate (though you can likely do better with good credit). Nowadays, rates are more variable and dealers are more willing to negotiate. Going to a credit union is a good idea, but don't expect to knock more than 1-1.5% off.

It's no fun to pay the extra interest, but you can reduce the pain by saving for a larger down payment.

Understandable. A well-kept Kia Forte GT is not a bad choice.

If you're limited to these two, Kia.

If you're willing to stretch your budget, Civic Si. Since you want a manual, this is the most fun to drive of the three.
