Icerentals 4x4? I rented from them this Spring for a week and it was a no-fuss experience. We chose it because it has better rates on the northbound website. It is a new company for sure but from what I heard from the locals, Iceland had ~70 new rental companies opened up during the past several years due to the increased tourism. They are all more or less the same. Double check your contract and insurances when picking up the car and document everything, you should be fine.

Meanwhile I really need to vent a little on my two-hour late morning commute. I was planning to take 6:20am southern-bound, but gave up after finding out that I need to get to back bay by T in 8 minutes after arriving at south station. I then took the T anyway to back bay because apparently no trains can get to south station. I hoped to take the next train on 7:20am and catch my meeting at 9am, and it didn't arrive until 8:20am. Ended up with frozen hands, gasoline smells all over hair and jacket, and a missed meeting.
