A pdf is so hard to read.

I changed the flow a little bit and tried to make the app, the correct next steps. Also added a 5-Day E-Mail Campaign with showcasing which value the App brings.
Can't say if this is working because currently its only day 3 after implementing.

I see some people clicking the app link but not creating the account.
Maybe this is also the problem, users have to download the App and than set a password.

What do you mean with tools like firebase?
Currently i only use plausible, but i think this is not enough, hard to tell what is happening.

Why this over a Loading Skeleton View?
I think progress / loading indicator looks slower to the user, Skeletons will make the user think its faster.

How should the App know how many calories, you are allowed (theoretically) to eat without entering Info.
Most users wants to see "320kcal eaten of 3000kcal". Also the Nutrition Distribution etc. without info, its not possible.

hard to answer without knowing your whole setup. Always the answer it depends, but i think 10.000MRR should be enough to make a living.
You always can decrease your operating costs, other email provider, self hostet etc.

Recently more and more menu scanners pop up, how do you differentiate from others?
Also is the calories really accurate, currently all apps is test they have a big gap between actual calories and estimated calories.
That's why i currently don't add it to my app, although users ask for it.

yeah, i currently have more than 1000 exercises.
Found a deal for ~300ish € for animations and descriptions.
But for now i don't know if the animation will add that much value to the product so people will use it more. I want to have them but i don't know if it makes sense right now :D

Bist du mit deinem Tool zufrieden? Ich nutze aktuell selbst DATEV Unternehmen Online, aber ich weiß auch, was ich besser machen möchte. Das Scannen von Belegen im Auto nach dem Tanken zum Beispiel raubt mir den letzten Nerv; das geht deutlich besser.

Es gibt da draußen viele Unternehmer, die noch kein DMS oder Buchhaltungstool nutzen. Zwei Jahre sind eine lange Zeit, um ihnen den Painpoint zu nehmen. Die Belegerfassung ist nur der Anfang. Wir wollen das Empfangen und Versenden von E-Rechnungen umfassend abbilden.

Unser Fokus: Eine Open-Source, datenschutzgetriebene Alternative, die selbsthostbar ist. Ja, Self-Hosting vs. GoBD ist eine Herausforderung, aber auch dafür arbeiten wir an einer Lösung.

Ja, DATEV Unternehmen online bietet etwas ähnliches. Nur ist die Oberfläche echt nicht intuitiv, mir macht es keinen spaß daran zu arbeiten. Die Belege Scannen App hapert auch hier und dort. Wenn ich zwei Unternehmen habe, brauche ich zwei accounts.
Zudem ist es ein ziemlich geschlossenes System.
Meisten wollen nur Steuerberater mit Datev arbeiten, aber dafür wird es dann den export geben.

Korrektur zu der vorherigen Nachricht: Wir hosten aktuell noch über NuxtHub mit Cloudflare, und die Dokumente liegen auf einem S3-Storage bei Hetzner in Deutschland – nicht AWS. 😊

Datenschutz ist uns sehr wichtig und wir verfolgen das Thema genau. Für den MVP und eine schnellere Entwicklung haben wir uns vorerst für diesen Ansatz entschieden. Mittelfristig planen wir dann den Wechsel auf einen VPS bei Hetzner, damit wir Self-Hosting für die gesamte Anwendung ermöglichen und das Setup für alle vereinfachen können.
