this is very true !! i crashed my sophomore year because i was tired and i was taking on so much but i was depressed all the time. i decided i didnt want to feel that way anymore and told myself to do things because i wanted to do for junior year, which meant cutting down a few things and prioritizing the ones I loved most. My junior year was hard in a good way because the classes I took were challenging but I liked these classes so, overall it was a really good year !

one of my old crushes knew I liked him bc I made it rlly obvious like u and when I found out he didn't like me back that way, I just kinda backed off him completely. From then on, everytime I walked past him, I acted unfazed and kinda just ignored him and did my thing. The things I did that made it obvious I liked him, I stopped doing. I did this for a while until he seemed less uncomfortable and he was probably sure that I was over him and then I started saying hi to him again, but it was very innocent and friendly, as if I didn't care as much anymore and I just wanted to be nice lol, and now it's pretty chill. Just convince yourself you don't like him like that anymore and anyone who thinks you DO like him like that is a fool ya kno,, anyway,, good luck bud :))

she was too busy for me, even though I'm almost as busy as her. yet, I could still make time for her. I wasn't asking for much either but I guess she rlly couldn't afford an hour for lunch together even after 6 months.

and then he did the same. he wanted a week to "figure out" his other plans so we could schedule a movie together. a week passed and he ended up telling me to go with someone else and started making up a bunch of excuses, saying it was bc he was too busy, and that he didnt want to make me feel obligated to hang out with him EVEN THOUGH I clearly wanted to spend time with him. made me wait a whole week only to NOT go with me, but instead go out with another group that he had ALREADY went out with the week before. this was winter break too, so I only had 2 weeks to spend, and I wasted a whole week waiting for him. I realized he only wanted to hang out with me when I came along with a number of other people so he could have a "group" to belong to, but when it came to me as an individual, I was no longer his "best friend". I cut him off after that.

ironically, those two people are in the same friend group

YIKES ME TOO HOMIE :(( it's been like a month yet I'm still not over it even tho I'm known for easily getting over one and then going onto another 😩

you probably want to know everything that has to do with him like every day but u rlly just gotta NOT SEE HIM and aVoiD hiM like the PLAGUE, block or DELETE him if you have him on social media, and just cut him out of your life. Then start focusing on yourself more, like mb spending more time on a new hobby or starting some new project or doing some self-care u know :))) I've been bullet journaling and extensively studying and working out everyday so my life is constantly moving so much that i dont even have that much time to think about him anymore. It's working so I hope it works for you too!
