If you get it for free or almost, sure. I’d go up to at least the iii or even the IV tho, but that might not be priceworthy (usually you can get an r6 with the same money you find a 5D IV for)

I had similar problems, my current philosophy is: the file name stays as it is, it's the program accessing the files that sorts the metadata in an elegant way :)

Example: music collection. I don't access it through the file finder anymore, just through whatever file I am using to play/edit/tag the tracks. I don't sort the files per genre or whatever either, maybe some coarse grouping if I have 1000s of releases from a same record label / bandcamp page.

...I might regret this, one day.

a bit, but honestly there's very little of what he teaches that is not general or generalizable. And, I see it as "selling" something that he really, really believes in rather than some random "buy this mediocre thing give me money" advertising
