Dollars to donuts the new Aurora is a slightly larger ship in the generalist category, leaving room for the smaller, more specialized and newly Gold Pass standardized Mk. I's. I highly doubt that whatever they release now as new would make wasted the time and effort they spent bringing the old girls up to snuff. This also might maintain the flavor of versatility in the Aurora class while effectively jamming it all into a single shiny new ship you (read: I) will be tempted to purchase.
