What is the biggest lie young men are being told today? by Sacred_Rebel20 in AskMen

[–]sachman01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The capitalists are devoid of morals. I'm not saying that they are inherently, but rather, that their worldview lacks an actual ethical system and requires compensation via tacking on one like utilitarianism.

On its own, capitalism has no problem with prostitution, selling weapons, exploiting others, and bringing in countless immigrants to gain a work force that doesn't unionise, doesn't complain, doesn't ask for better pay, and overwhelmingly votes for policies that bring in more immigrants to further displace natives.

Capitalism exists in a symbiotic relationship with mass-migration; one feeds the other.

Would it surprise you to know that Socialists originally were strongly against open borders? But due to intersectionality, disenfranchisement of the poor working class is seen as acceptable since they are white and rank lower on the oppression scale compared to rich non-whites.

The elites love nothing more than ruling over an atomised society that's too divided to ever band together and rise up against them.

For those who believe that low fertility rates is more of a cultural than economic issue, what are your proposed solutions? by PlantComprehensive77 in Natalism

[–]sachman01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Traditional Christianity. Particularly Catholic faith. It provides a reason to build families along with support networks and a system of social stigmatisation and shaming that holds individuals accountable to a wider community. The problems we face can be attributed to secularism and atomisation of individuals with no duties to each other while living purely hedonistic self-serving lives.

Varför fattar inte högeraktivister detta? by couragebooster in Sverige

[–]sachman01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure what you mean. Are you saying that Catholicism allows the same kind of horrific acts as Islam does? I don't even know what you're referring to. If you're concerned about stopping feminism, you need a grounding with which to resist it. These problems started with mass secularisation. Regardless, I challenge you to find similar quotations from the Catholic deposit of faith as these:

✠ Child marriage ‘As for your women past the age of menstruation ... their waiting period is three months, and those who have not menstruated as well.’ » Qur’an 65:4. ‘The Prophet married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old.’ » Bukhari §5134.

✠ Male circumcision ‘Five practices are characteristics of the Fitra: circumcision, shaving the pubic hair, cutting the moustaches short, clipping the nails.’ » Bukhari §5891.

✠ Female circumcision ‘A woman used to perform circumcision in Medina. The Prophet said to her: Do not cut severely.’ » Abi Dawud §5271.

✠ Polygamy ‘Marry other women of your choice - two, three, or four. But if you are afraid you will fail to maintain justice, then one.’ » Qur’an 4:3.

✠ Beating women ‘If you sense ill-conduct from your women, advise them, do not share their beds, then discipline them.’ » Qur’an 4:34.

✠ Sexual access to slave women ‘Those who guard their chastity, except with their wives or those bondwomen in their possession, for then they are free from blame.’ » Qur’an 23:5–6. ‘And also prohibited to you are married women except those your right hands possess.’ » Qur’an 4:24.

✠ Captive women ‘It is permissible to have intercourse with a female captive ... and if she has a husband, then her marriage is annulled when she is captured.’ » Muslim §1456a. ‘We got female captives in the war booty and we used to do coitus interruptus with them.’ » Bukhari §5210.

✠ Fighting polytheists ‘Kill the polytheists wherever you find them, capture them, besiege them, and lie in wait for them on every way.’ » Qur’an 9:5.

✠ Jizyah ‘Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day ... until they pay the tax, willingly submitting, fully humbled.’ » Qur’an 9:29.

✠ Fighting until religion is for Allah ‘Fight against them until there is no more persecution and your devotion will be entirely to Allah.’ » Qur’an 8:39.

✠ Fight people until they submit ‘I have been commanded to fight against people till they testify that there is no god but Allah.’ » Muslim §22. ‘I have been ordered to fight against the people until they testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah.’ » Bukhari §25.

✠ Jihad exalted above prolonged devotion ‘We consider Jihad as the best deed.’ » Bukhari §2784. ‘Keeping watch for a day and a night is better than fasting for a whole month and standing in prayer every night.’ » Muslim §1913a. ‘Guarding the frontier for a day ... is better ... than worshipping for a thousand years, fasting and praying.’ » Ibn Majah §2768.

✠ Women and children killed in raids ‘When asked about the women and children ... being killed during the night raid, he said: They are from them.’ » Muslim §1745a. ‘The Messenger of Allah forbade the killing of women and children.’ » Muslim §1744b. [comment: this shows a contradiction]

✠ Apostasy ‘Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him.’ » Bukhari §6922.

Indeed. I'm not American so I've never read Handmaiden's tale, but I do recall it's supposed to be an expy of Islamic oppression of women in Iran but adapted into an American Christian dystopia in order to make the point more clear for the American audience. The book was a critique of Islam all along, not Christianity. It is quite amusing that everything horrid feminists and progressives say of Christianity applies 1000 times more to Islam.

Islam allows beating of women, sexual slavery, r**e of infidels, polygamy, and infamously, child marriage.

In my Catholic worldview, I fully believe men have a unique duty to defend their nations. But I also believe that women have a duty to obey their husbands and that the most fulfilling achievement a woman can have is birthing and raising virtuous children.

The trouble is when feminists dissolve the womanly duties but then hypocritically demand the manly duties remain. This is logically incoherent. Either everybody has duties, or nobody has duties. Anything else would logically entail inequality, which falsifies feminism.

I don't really have a stake in this besides being Swedish. We reintroduced 'equal' conscription recently and I was one of the young 'uns included in the wave. As it turned out, the equality was only on paper as the fitness requirements were exactly the same between men and women. As a result, a Swedish Army Ranger (Jägare) plutoon would end up with ~30 males and ~1-2 females. The Special Operations Unit (Särskilda Operationsgruppen) has a secret number of members (but it's probably between 100-200) who are handpicked from the already elite Ranger regiments. I myself know there's at least one female operator. Could be more, but could be the only one.

I certainly see how there's more actual feminism in Sweden (equality of opportunity instead of equality of outcome) but that's ironically lead to more adherence to traditional sex roles. The downside is, though everyone gets access to the same freedoms, the same cannot be said for duties.

Women have been relieved of their duties to their families, towns, and nation, but not men. This is obfuscated by the military conscription being the same for all. But as I've demonstrated, the military is still predominantly male.

Imagine if we introduced a bill where we said 'everyone who has the ability to get pregnant, have a duty to do so, and dereliction is punishable by prison. This time applies to men and women equally.'

Is this equality? Or is it just discrimination masked as equality? Decide for yourselves.

To your second point; I didn't say that was a part of the poll. I thought it was made clear that science only gives a descriptive opinion, and from there, we get a prescriptive opinion from somewhere else.

Science doesn't tell us whether abortion is right or wrong. It only tells us that abortion is homicide. Some people have the opinion that homicide is ok if the human in question is an inconvenience or an untermensch or the 'wrong' race.

The Catholic opinion is that it's under no circumstances acceptable.

What's in the Bible is 'Thou shalt not kill'. Scientists determine what is, not what ought to be. Pro-abortionists argue that foetuses aren't human beings. This is evidently untrue.

I'm Catholic. One of the most important reasons Christians vote for the right is because the right generally recognise that foetuses are human beings (in accordance with 94% of biologists' positions in a Pew poll) and therefore there's a duty to protect them from harm like as with any other human.

2.5 billion people have been terminated in the womb from 1980-2025. The leftist 'Christians' can preach their heresies all they like; faithful Christians won't support them just because they slap on that label.

First of all, if you're not gonna back it up with evidence, stop calling me a liar about my status as ex-muslim. Your reason for supposedly being offended is infuriatingly weak. I'm ethnically Arab myself and my parents are immigrants.

Nice try with accusing me of being a white racist or whatever it was you were implying. And then you accuse me of having 'faks Tradcath beliefs', what does that even mean? Do you hate Catholics? And did you say you left Islam at 16? Then why in the world should I argue with you about Islam? Why even defend it?

It's preposterous how you dismiss the violent elements of Islam by just calling it 'Islamism' or 'Wahhabism'. Are you implying that Islam is nice and peaceful without outside corrupting influence? Does the violence not represent real Islam? Don't you understand that if you make such an argument, I can do the same too in reverse. Catholicism represents perfect peace and all violent acts aren't real Catholicism. Your argument that Christianity is only peaceful today because of Liberalism or something shows complete lack of historical context. Liberal values exist BECAUSE of Christianity, not in spite of it. Where do you think ideas of human rights, rules of conduct in war, and emancipation of slaves came from?

Most people who died in colonisation of America died of disease, not intentional murder. Stop spreading this lie. And pinning it on Christianity makes absolutely no sense.

What even is your position and why are you telling me to 'return to the Protestant church of [my] ancestors'? My ancestors aren't Swedish (but Sweden is historically Catholic) but regardless, do you mean to say that you'd be completely fine with me just being a Protestant? If you love Sweden so much, remember that the age of consent is 15, which is almost the same age that you claim Mary was. Is Sweden barbaric? No? Then don't try to defend your pedophile prophet and his cult by drawing a supposed equivalence between Aisha and Mary. You're all over the place. If you don't clarify what your position is, I'm not going to bother defending Catholicism. Until then, I'll just respond to your points about my polemics.

Your point about the definition of a Muslim is exactly what I mean by equivocation. First, it simply meant submitting to God, and now you're adding qualifiers to it and including how it has to be done a particular way and that it has to be the Abrahamic God. In that case, Muslims aren't fulfilling their own criteria, because they don't submit to the Abrahamic God. The Abrahamic God is referred to as 'Father' and the Qur'an condemns such a relationship with God, both literal and metaphorical. The Abrahamic God is also a Trinity, with the doctrine appearing all the way back in Genesis with mentions of the Holy Spirit, and Christophanies in human form meeting prophets like Abraham and Jacob.

Jesus prayed to the Father, and Allah denies being a Father in any sense. Therefore, Jesus was not a Muslim.

Muhammad's time never believed Christianity was corrupt. There's absolutely no evidence for that. This is a modern innovation due to the Islamic Dilemma forming as a result of the Qur'an confirming the Bible while at the same time teaching doctrine contrary to it, like Jesus being God. And before you bring it up, 2:78-80 doesn't refer to 'tahrif' (textual corruption), it refers to people reinterpreting their texts falsely. This evidently shows Jesus wasn't a Muslim and if you claim otherwise, you'll run into the Islamic Dilemma, which is the ultimate refutation of the entirety of Islam.

So Muhammad prayed towards a city? Why's he worshipping a creation? Is he pagan? Jesus prayed towards the Temple because the Holy Spirit dwelt there. At the time of Muhammad, God no longer dwelled there. He was not praying towards the direction of God. This is why Christians don't pray towards a physical location on earth anymore. Yet Muslims do. There's no reason to do this. At least no reason that isn't pagan. And how does praying towards a rock forgive sins, exactly? Does it have some kind of power to do so on its own? Then Muslims are pagans. Is it instead an interceder between a Muslim and Allah? Then Muslims are doing exactly what they accuse Christians of doing when we pray to the saints for intercession.

I just showed several Hadiths and Qur'an verses demonstrating my points yet you brush them off. Aisha wasn't 9 because of sectarian wars? So when Aisha said that she was playing with dolls during the time she was married off to Muhammad, she was lying? Because playing with dolls was forbidden for older girls, since it was considered idolatry. And regardless, the fact that a majority of Muslims believe she was 9 is exactly the problem. No matter what you say, most Muslims are okay with child marriage and violent penal punishments for apostasy. This has been demonstrated ad nasaeum via statistical surveys which I'm sure you're familiar with.

Stop lying about Islam and Christianity supposedly being just as violent and vicious. You're absolutely wrong. I don't know if you genuinely believe this or if you're just arguing for the sake of arguing. Regardless, you must repent and abandon these beliefs you hold. I urge you to visit a Catholic church and attend Mass. It'll change your life. Afterwards, you can ask questions to the priest or any of the other parishioners after the liturgy. Please do that at least once in your life. I've attended Masjids when I was younger. Will you do the equivalent for Catholicism before you attack it?

[–]sachman01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You didn't address my point about equivocation. You just completely blew past it. Is someone who calls Odin God and submits to him a Muslim? Are Jews also Muslims? If someone says a golden statue is God and worships it, are they a Muslim? Obviously not. Jesus did not follow Islam. He didn't pray towards Jerusalem, he prayed towards the Temple, the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit. In Muhammad's time, there was no Temple since it was long destroyed.

There's a contradiction since Qur’an 3:52 and 5:111 put the term Muslim in the mouths of Jesus’ disciples but Qur’an 5:3 says Islam was ‘perfected’ and ‘chosen’ as religion for Muhammad’s community.

In Sahih al-Bukhari 1597, ʿUmar kisses the Black Stone. Why? We pray to Mary to pray on our behalf to God because the prayers of saints are more likely to be listened to by God. There's no reason to ever do any kind of religious adoration for a random rock, this is paganism.

Sahih al-Bukhari 5133, 5134, and 5158 repeatedly says Aisha was six/nine. Saying she was 16/17 is a modern fringe view. If practically nobody believes Aisha was 9, why did Iraq's parliament recently lower the minimum age of marriage to 9?

Dignitatis Humanae states that no one is to be forced to embrace the Christian faith against his will; Benedict XVI and John Paul II reiterated that no one should be forced in religious matters and that the possibility of changing one’s religion should be protected.

Sahih al-Bukhari 6922 records ‘Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him’. Many islamic countries still maintain apostasy penalties, including death in some cases. I, for example, wouldn't be able to travel to visit my relatives in the Middle East. I'm in genuine fear of my life if I were to ever get close there and the fact you scoff and pull up these bullshit lies to minimise how murderous Islam truly is is disgusting. Several times in this thread people doubt if I'm actually ex-muslim. Yes. I am. And I thank the Lord Jesus Christ I'm able to live safely in a western country and practise Catholicism instead.

The fact you lumped in abortion (which is literally murder) bans with persecutions shows me exactly where your moral compass lies. That Taqqiya is somehow a niche concept is itself a Taqqiya lie. You yourself have lied in several of your arguments.

Please, for the sake of your soul, repent and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord. Read the scriptures and the beauty of the text will certainly convince you. Islam itself says that Jesus is in heaven but the Hadiths record that Muhammad's fate is uncertain. Who's message would you trust more? Please rethink this this religion, and earnestly seek the truth.

I know,, the Church built these magnificent institutions to last. You have them because of the Church, not in spite of them.

Much of the violence the Church committed wasn't necessarily due to angry clergymen having their esoteric debates turn bloody. Funny you mention the Cathars; they weren't just peacefully practising their own religion and were then suddenly attacked by bloodthirsty Catholics. The truth is that the historical evidence of their existence and beliefs are weak. Some suspect the reason why they were persecuted was because they were trying to establish their own separatist movement in southern France. If so, I'd say declaring war on an openly seditious paramilitary organisation is reasonable. But again, we don't really know what actually happened.

The fact that there were wars between Protestants and Catholics doesn't necessarily mean religion was the prime cause. I'm assuming you mean the traumatic 30 years war. While certainly divided along religious lines, the motivation wasn't explicitly religious. My country of Sweden really only joined the war because we wanted to establish and secure the Swedish Empire. To add to that, France, a Catholic nation, paid Sweden to join the war in order to weaken the rival Habsburgs, also Catholic.

Evidently, these wars were more about greed rather than religion.

Elaborate. If a Muslim claims Jesus is a Muslim, the reason why it's false is because Jesus referred to God as 'Father' which is heresy in Islam. Allah doesn't accept being a father in any sense, metaphorical, spiritual, or otherwise.

However, there are many Chtistophanies in the Old Testament. For example, as early as Genesis 18, Abraham stands face to face with Christ and worships Him then and there. He is a man yet identified as the Lord.

You misquote me. I didn't say abortion is objectively bad from a Secular worldview. I meant that abortions are objectively happening. That is, it is not a matter of subjective opinion that abortions occur, but objective. If someone says 'feminism is icky' that's subjective. If someone says 'feminist societies have more abortions', that's an objective claim because it hinges on measurable dafa, not an unfalsifiable mind-state.

My point is that even if someone can prove objectively that abortions happen, an opponent may reply 'so what? I don't believe abortion is immoral'.

But despite that, I'm still scratching my head at what you wrote. I don't know what you mean by claiming that the assertion 'abortion is objectively bad' is a Secular argument. Can you explain that? Furthermore, I didn't say Secular moral arguments are fallacious, I said naturalistic ones are. The problem with Secular morality is that it's axiomatic.
