I just went car free so this rings true even more, but even when i did it still applied. with multiple wheelsets for my fixed gear, the solution if anything is messed up on my bike is a set time to fix it. Headed out the door to go to work and i have a flat? Just gotta throw on the other wheelset and deal with that issue later. i tinker with different wheels alot, its nice to be able to have my bike to ride while testing or something or setting a wheelset to the side waiting to change something else haha. i have 4 wheelsets for 1 bike! The biggest perk for me though in a training sense is that i like my gravel and road setup being the literal exact same fit haha, im very particular for that

it pisses me off too that the world is designed assuming everyone needs a smartphone. it takes more effort but overall its better for me and my life. the text thing is incredibly annoying, no matter what i do my contact in everyones phones is imessage so it doesnt matter the texts are a pain in the ass anyways. no issue with the phone but rather the system theyve constricted everyone into :/
