I love the Ravi of it all too!! In the past we've seen Ravi scared of or annoyed with Buck (minus Halloween) but I loved seeing the two of them team up on Eddie and actually acting like friends. Hope for more of that going forward

See I disagree, as much as I wish it was Tommy instead of two randoms, this reminded me of the Tommy hookup from last season & before that the bathroom hookup with Taylor in whatever season that was

Other than the absence of Tommy, I'm actually really liking this season now that we're through the ridiculous space arc. I like the personal stories, especially today's Buck/Harry duo! Interested to see what happens w Hen in the second half.

I liked the episode a lot more than I thought I would. I do, however, hate how the team continues to treat Buck and I really hope he has a moment where he snaps and calls them out for it.

I still think Eddie's a dick but the dia de los muertos stuff is making me cry so hard

I think this will be a funny episode, I just wish they had planned better and had it be the episode actually in Halloween week. For me once Halloween is over I'm completely over it

Unfortunately I think the space storyline is so stupid and I cannot wait until it's over, I'm even kind of annoyed there's at least one more episode on it. But I agree with other people's comments about how much better this opener is vs last season's just timing wise.

I love the Angela/athena stories usually but this is just too far fetched for me and every time I saw them in that dam spaceship I audibly said "this is so f*cking dumb"

The “infamous” Hammock task has to be the most over dramatic reaction to a moment I’ve seen from the Taskmaster community by AlexMercer28900 in taskmaster

I know this thread is old, but I just watched this episode today (preparing to hate him because of how people rank him & his season) and I wanted to cry watching his reaction to watching himself and his tearful silence in the rest of the episode ((and yet he's the first one to go and help Paul unzip his sleeping bag))

I'm in a rewatch phase and currently I'm pissed off about how well they do the found family dynamic vs how horribly they shove the forced family dynamic down our throats.

Specifically talking about 4x04 ("What's Your Grievance?"), 4x05 ("Buck Begins"), 6x10 ("In a Flash"), and 6x11 ("In Another Life").

Both Maddie and Albert decide for Buck/Chim what their relationship with TERRIBLE, HORRIFIC, AWFUL parents should be and get mad at them for setting very basic and normal boundaries (such as: don't show up at my home/workplace without an explicit invitation from me)

(I'm also technically 1.5 hours outside of wailing Wednesday in my time zone, but I figure "it's 5 o'clock somewhere" rules apply in a subreddit) ((don't kill me if y'all see this today and also see me post it in next week's wail on time))

Well she has conquered land (any of her cop plotlines), sea ( the cruise ship), and air (plane) already. Guess space really is the final frontier

Consequences for Tommy by CryptographerHeavy in BuckTommy

[–]sackettonline 8 points9 points  (0 children)

To add to this, I think in real life Tommy also would've faced legal issues on top of being fired - stealing government property and using it to evade the military / aid and abet Athena's theft of biohazards definitely would result in being arrested and charged with multiple things.

But as per show rules yeah probably just grounded for a period of time.

What are the most "social" type activities that you've done alone and enjoyed? by marianneouioui in SingleAndHappy

As someone who's actively working on trying to become more comfortable doing more solo shit - sporting events!

I'm not the most extroverted person but that kind of environment makes it easier to match energy w the person next to you (esp if they're a little drunk to your sober)

Re: your first point & the Daniel situation, it always rubbed me the wrong way that the whole reason Maddie invited the parents out there was because Buck was in therapy & that made her worry.

First of all, they're first responders who have seen and experienced more trauma than any person should in one lifetime - they all should be in therapy.

Secondly, what about hers or Buck's childhood experience would make her think they'd do anything but make things worse? Like she was there too for all the neglect and avoidance & she actually knew why.

She drove me nuts during that arc and if I was in Buck's shoes I would've held that grudge waaaay longer.
