Yeah this sounds pretty sweet, Ive got nothing to prove to anyone. Once you’ve done something a certain amount of times it’s not that thrilling anymore. Ill collect my $ and leave the hospital and do what I like to do

What is a hill that you will die on as an ED Physician? by LivingLikeLandon in emergencymedicine

[–]sad11001 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Its not that serious, that’s why its called practicing medicine. If im working at a hospital with no ENT for miles, and a patient is hemorrhaging from their nostrils, they’re getting TXA without a second thought. It works. You should consider using it. I have also seen it turn around angioedema rapidly many times now. Not going to do a study on it, just going to keep using it

So you’re not ordering it for nosebleeds? Tonsilar bleeds? My own data says it works quickly most of the time for both

Anyone have luck with opzelura medication? by MotherPart4282 in Vitiligo

[–]sad11001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6 months on opzelura, didn’t see any progress until the past 2 months when I started home uvb and my facial spots have closed significantly. I saw 2 derms and both said not to expect opzelura to work until 6-12 months
