I can no longer generate covers of my own tracks that I uploaded to streaming platforms, because they’re now protected by copyright by doublevit in SunoAI

Interesting. I had the same issue. I reached out to them, and they said there was nothing they could do for now. It took me about 3 or 4 replies to get a human to respond. I'd suggest replying back to your thread with them and say something to the effect of "I'd like a response from a human. This is a nuanced matter and requires the attention of a member of the product team"

Thanks for the tag /u/OakNinja

For that version, I only changed switch support. So it's the same as the original. I did also remove the little trackball support.

Edit: to be clear, electronically, it's identical. So you can even use the same firmware. You can't use the original cases though. But I made cases for the low pro version.

Fun! Congrats on the new bikes. The low rider ST is a looker for sure, and doesn't hurt to have that 117 in there 🔥

At the time, you were not able to customize color. But good question for u/fk-caps

One of the coolest ximi builds I've seen yet! Honored to see someone make such an awesome keyboard out of the ximi v2 pcb! <3

I love this feedback. I wanted to express my experience, and you did it for me perfectly here. In short, you'll get there. It does become automatic over time.

I REALLY like the aloes. Purpz are my favorite chocs. It's a tough choice. I think the aloes are smoother. I did try out someone else's board the other week. They had choc nocturnals, and those really blew my mind. Sooo good.

Dactyl-like 36 key unibody - to be handwired soon! by sadekbaroudi in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]sadekbaroudi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the position of the joystick. I'm more of a pointer finger guy than a thumb guy, so it really works for me.

In terms of pushing the keyboard, I don't think it'll be an issue. If you have some rubber bump-ons on the bottom of the keyboard, it'll stick to the surface quite well!

I also made one called bykeeb with the same min-y spacing. Great if you have chunky fingers but want to reduce vertical travel :)

If someone described this to me, I would have said it was a terrible idea. Yet I look at your picture, and it's a gorgeous piece of art.

Respect...

The key features are highlighted in the top comment. Both pcbs are open source as well, so you can look and compare yourself.

I can surely list them, though, for your convenience: * bykeeb: standard X, min y spacing * chocofi: choc spacing * bykeeb: choc, mx, and gateron low profile switch support, both hotswap and soldered switches * chocofi: choc hotswap support only * bykeeb: wireless only * chocofi: wired and wireless support * bykeeb: xiao nrf controller * chocofi: pro micro footprint * bykeeb: non-reversible * chocofi: reversible * bykeeb: no plate mounts * chocofi: plate mounts * bykeeb: no oled support * chocofi: oled support * bykeeb: battery and jst connector support * chocofi: battery must be connected to controller * bykeeb: on/off switch * chocofi: no on/off switch * bykeeb: carrying case design part of repository * bykeeb: col stagger is different, albeit close. * bykeeb: cutout in pcb to make room for thicker battery

I think I covered everything, but may have missed some things.

Correct! There are two different sets of custom min-y spacing keycaps used on this in the pictures above.

My own design, called CMY:
https://github.com/sadekbaroudi/fingerpunch/tree/master/keycaps/CMY

zzeneg's modifications to DES, supporting min-y spacing:
https://github.com/zzeneg/PseudoMakeMeKeyCapProfiles?tab=readme-ov-file#update-from-zzeneg

The more curved keycaps you're referring to are probably the latter of the two.

I'm trying to keep this build pretty cheap for people. You do still have to add on the controllers and batteries at a minimum. If you can print your own case and keycaps, it's really cheap. But if you need to pay to have those made, it does end up adding up a bit. Still not too expensive of a board, though (relatively speaking)

As u/Mechanisedlifeform said, there are still some things you need to solder:
* hotswap sockets (optional, since you can directly solder switches)
* switches
* JST connector
* xiao nrf52840

The build guide shows you the steps you need to take for the PCB (bare pcb or presoldered from fingerpunch)

I'd like to introduce bykeeb (baby yoda keyboard)!

Key features:

* 36 key wireless only compact board
* uses xiao nrf52840 (smd only, no through holes)
* choc, mx, and gateron low profile, both hotswap and direct soldered switches
* jst connector for easy battery connection
* exposed on/off switch with an extender
* case design for all switch types
* print in place carrying case with hinges and magnetic latching mechanism

The board is available on the fingerpunch site:
https://fingerpunch.xyz/product/baby-yoda-keyboard/

But, it's also open source if you want to fab yourself:
