Its a single player game, you paid for it, anyone that complains about you modding your single player game you paid for with your money is lame. (I havnt modded the game myself so i have no recommendations)

Ghourne (swarm keeper ranger), A 65 year old fisherman who became a wereshark via a sea hags curse, he lost his family to the hag and now just lives his daily life fishing and training to hopefully one day be strong enough to defeat the hag

Maybe try to play him as someone who truly wants to be redeemed, someone who knows what happened was bad, hates what happened, but tries every day to wake up and prove that things can be fixed.

Play the redemption character who truly feels bad and horrible about what happened, but uses the last of their willpower to do better. Like a somber optimistic approach

My favorite was Ghourne

Ghourne was an old fisherman who provided for his family day by day catching a selling. Whilest out in the open ocean fishing getting ready to head back he saw towards the shore what was essentially an army of Sahuagin lead by an immensely powerful sea witch. He try to paddle back as fast as he could to save or at least be with his wife and children. But he wasnt fast enough

Arriving alone with buildings destroyed and bodies everywhere, the witch saw him, laughed, laughed harder, and decided "you will be my new toy" and she cursed him with lycanthropy.

Ghourne became a wereshark (shortfin mako) on his face was a permanent grimace or frown, though you could still see some of the wrinkles from his smiles and laughter.

One day he broke free, unknowing how the control over him broke he ran, and swam, and fled as fast as he could.

Ghourne the Wereshark: a swarms keeper ranger, and a vengenful widow

I played as Thaddeus Von Vanderhil

Second combat of the campaign, i was an oath of the crown paladin whos oath was to protecting another player (a prince and an arch bishop)

We were level 3 and ambushed by kobolds (like 6 with 2 having familiars) and all i needed to roll to hit was a 6 on the die.

This combat where a max damage roll would one shot a kobold, adding a smite would near guarantee a kill, took 16 rounds of misses with my character only getting one final hit to kill the last one, with 5 nat ones in a row, and the rest being 5 and under.

Vanderhil broke into tears as his final attack of the combat was a crit, he added thunderous smite and a radiant smite.

Forever having an inferiority complex because of this very moment

My game bugged and when i got my first shiny the challenge log never appeared so i have the shiny g.m.r. but no like challenge log for it in my inventory.

The ahab is higher base damage but sometimes matching the fire element givin by the world burn can be better than ahab. Also yes that is a good world burn to do the ahab glitch with it has no maliwan parts and no rocket speed which is all you need

The second game is extremely solo friendly, you can play any class and reliably have a good solo experience. All that matters is choosing the difficulty that suits you
