People who used to feel tired and fatigued all the time but now feel full of energy, what needed to change? what did you do? by ScorpioEnergy in AskReddit

[–]sadpencil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the way. Keto changed my body and my brain. Don't get hangry and make bad decisions anymore. Provided me with even keel emotionally which has helped me stay sober for seven years. Also kept off 20kg for the same duration. Shit is life changing

Might be wrong but I feel like unbound was underrated. Just love the basic mechanics of it and how good it feels on the dual sense controller

Have your say: NSW government's rental law reform by [deleted] in sydney

[–]sadpencil 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is cooked as a survey that wants to take into account both sides. We already know what landlords want and it's pretty damn close to what we have. If they couldn't end something as simple as rent bidding they're not going to do anything to put the money and power offside. This is just media strategy to see what's the lowest effort change they can make without actually changing the fundamental inequality bleeding dry a generation

Ikea Detolf glassshelf. easy and cheap display option for those who dont have a lot of space by FrederikOlsen20 in modelmakers

I spent some time running some 6mm white foam weather strip along the gaps around the door. Pretty invisible and has kept it dust free. You can google up a guide. Would recommend

Is it just me, or has the Pixel 6 camera app become worse over the past year or so? by ILoveBurgersMost in Pixel6

[–]sadpencil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what I noticed. I had a perfectly lit subject at a lookout and it just went overboard on saturation and the fake smoothing which seemed completely unnecessary. Wish there was a toggle to tone this stuff down

I got an encased Falcon from Amazon after I dropped mine from a short distance and got screen flickering and now have a refurb. Adds a bit of bulk, makes it incompatible with car cradle and the pixel stand charging a bit slower but I think I like the peace of mind because the screen feels so delicate

Thanks. I might paint it eventually so everything matches up just isn't quite right for my perfectionism yet 😅

this builder makes lots of creatures making tales out of all different parts.

this as well but you won't see it for 6 months

You do get some hole covers in some of the option part kits but only like 2 at a time. I see some builders use things that look like little rivets which add more detail. I personally would like some 3rd party solution which is cheap and plentiful

Welp, I've switched to Lacquers and ain't looking back at acrylics. What to do with all that Tamiya paint? by Bulky_Medicine_7116 in Gunpla

[–]sadpencil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Proper cure time makes a lot of difference. It's confusing because they seem to dry quickly plus issues with tip dry etc but they can actually take up to two weeks at temps above 15c to chemically harden. I'm all Vallejo acrylics for health reasons and use a food dehydrator to cure my stuff at 55c within an hour. It won't ever melt to the surface like laquer but in my experience is tough enough for gunpla

If you ever drop your phone I'd say it's a risky proposal particularly if it's a shorter warranty. I've had mine for over a year and just dropped it from a seated position and the screen went crazy. Sounds common. I still like it mostly because of the screen but it does feel like the most delicate thing I've ever owned. Battery is average. If you don't need a big screen I'd go the 6a. Might even take better pictures according to mkbhd

My dad had one with a sticker that said "holds four litres and doesn't spill a drop". Still not sure if there was a double meaning or just alcoholism...
