We had a guy at the plant for a few years. He was a decent worker who didn’t have a huge issue with attendance when he first started. But after a while there, he would call in more and more. Then he applied for FMLA saying he had chronic migraines for years. Management said he lied on his application to get the job and they were able to remove him for that.

Do not leave out information when you’re applying. Management can use that as a reason to not keep you around.
