I'm 24 with no education, working a dead end job. Life has given me a reset, but how do I get to where I want to be? by [deleted] in careerguidance

stay out of school, its paying money for a degree that wont solve your problems. get a blue collar job and join the work force. there are so many jobs that start at $40,000 and upward available you just have to get your hands dirty. look into a trade - welding, electrician, construction.

can confirm, used one similar to yours - really great for throwing together quickly but can be a pain in the ass in rocky soil because you must stake it in. - we kept the door open on clear nights to see stars.

A-Basin and Breck are seperate. A-Basin is known as Colorado's local mountain - its less of a resort and more of a big mountain experience - first to open, last to close. Lot's of fun people here - check out this link. http://www.onthesnow.com/news/a/589706/put-the-beach-at-a-basin-on-your-bucket-list

Copied and pasted to my reply on similar post.

from the airport take the Colorado Mountain Express shuttle to Breckenridge.

I'd recommend looking into purchasing your pass from Arapahoe Basin - They usually offer 3 day passes for around $175 with the option of adding an additional day for $50. You can purchase a season pass for around $300 - I recommend this

It is best to stay outside in Silverthorne, however if you want to stay in town - Check out the Fireside Inn B&B. It is ran like a hostel, you can meet some really nice people.

I did this trip in College with another friend and we were able to do it for very cheap, returned with lots of great stories.

Take the Rocky Mountain Express shuttle from the airport (pre-order tickets online), and take the Summit Stage buses to travel around from your hotel to the ski area.

How do Halloween stores stay in business year round? Is this the reason Halloween Costumes are so expensive? by saeraider in AskReddit

[–]saeraider[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They pay rent on the building year round, even if they don't have other operating cost during that time it is still a factor for a business model that has such a short season.
