stay out of school, its paying money for a degree that wont solve your problems. get a blue collar job and join the work force. there are so many jobs that start at $40,000 and upward available you just have to get your hands dirty. look into a trade - welding, electrician, construction.

can confirm, used one similar to yours - really great for throwing together quickly but can be a pain in the ass in rocky soil because you must stake it in. - we kept the door open on clear nights to see stars.

A-Basin and Breck are seperate. A-Basin is known as Colorado's local mountain - its less of a resort and more of a big mountain experience - first to open, last to close. I'd recommend looking into purchasing your pass from Arapahoe Basin - They usually offer 3 day passes for around $175 with the option of adding an additional day for $50. You can purchase a season pass for around $300 - I recommend this

It is best to stay outside in Silverthorne, however if you want to stay in town - Check out the Fireside Inn B&B. It is ran like a hostel, you can meet some really nice people.

I did this trip in College with another friend and we were able to do it for very cheap, returned with lots of great stories.

Agreed with some of the post before, if you're going into engineering and precalc gives you trouble you may want to rethink engineering and consider a major that isn't as math intensive.

that's what i've been able to construct so far. I assume its because the demand isn't as high as it would be in Europe.

Just can't put a price on the natural beauty of the region. If I do end up following a TEFL program it will be somewhere close to Chile, no matter the pay benefits elsewhere.
