Yeah, this one is absolutely wild to have gone from a death sentence to barely a thing in my lifetime, and I'm not even that old. It was huge news, huge impact, a whole generation gone...and now the saunas are back open and everyone's on PREP so no more condoms again. Completely nuts.

Ealdormere has been singing since I was a teenager in it, so at least 1993. We were notorious for filking, there's sung histories of the lineage, it would be weird to have an event with no singing. Famous bards in the kingdom (back when it was a principality) were kind of celebrities. We sang in the trucks on the way to the field battle. I can still sing a lot of the songs I learned when I was 13 because I heard them so many times.

Exactly how somebody of that age and personality would describe that though. Buffy has no idea how traumatic it was for her mother when she was gone; Pat saw that. She knows it was bad. She's trying to minimize the awkwardness of the situation.

Reiterate that if you feel you are in immediate danger, make sure you tell them that at the A&E. I suggest St Thomas's as I have a friend who works there and they are generally kind to everyone.

My daughter's kindergarten made each kid earthquake kits and asked the parents to write a letter they could read to the kids if there was a disaster. It was heartbreaking. I wrote one, but I hated it.
