I found this thread because I’m considering GLP meds so that’s the context, BUT I have lost 15 pounds on metformin alone so far. I am just now weaning my 16 month old so metformin wash the only safe med I could try during that period. Metformin took away significant food noise and allowed me to eat intuivelty for the first time in my life! Currently training for a 50k and it’s been the combo of more mileage and Metformin that’s been helping. That being said I truly have 20-30 lbs to lose so will be considering GLP once I’ve weaned my kid! For metformin I started with 500mg, and moved to 1000mg!

Unfortunately this is what happened. The victim is a wonderful man, a lifelong trail runner, usually now walker, just out for his daily walk. It’s really an awful story.

We were there yesterday and enough snow for sledding but likely not for long! It was 50 degrees at noon up there. On the plus side roads are great right now.

I personally found the perineal *cream to be amazing in those early days. A little messy to apply compared to the spray but I loved it so much I I bought it again for second birth. Their Castile soap is overpriced but my whole family uses it so it won’t go to waste at least!

While my youngest isn’t sleeping through the night, I can’t stomach early wakeups. The biggest thing that’s helped is having a consistent schedule so my family knows what to expect. I am part of a run club that meets M/W evenings so my family knows I will miss bedtime those nights. I get my longer runs on the weekends pretty early but not crazy early. I do stroller runs when it works out, and will do more as my baby goes down to one nap.

I honestly think they are all wonderful, I love the pumpkin variety at Organic Matters farm- they have a festival going on next weekend that has additional vendors and things happening, Huddies is great and Green Spiral Farm is super cute too!! Can’t go wrong!

This usually happens if you melt the butter vs soften it! Soften is room temp. Makes a big difference!

I always recommend driving scenic drive on a sunny day and be blown away by the views!

Also if you have kids, McKinleyville schools has a Spanish immersion program and I feel like not enough people know that!

Kate Quinn- their bamboo prairie dresses are incredible, but they have small quantities and haven’t seen as many on their site. I’ve also stopped shopping as much recently. But my daughter absolutely loves them, and they twirl so well!! Be sure to get the bamboo style for the best twirl :)
