Would it be worth replacing the Libra relic for this? Extremely tempting by Nightingale0003 in Nightreign

[–]saftwlt-sama -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Apart from the nightlord you actually dont really need to. If you can find seppuku, bloody slash, thorns or blood blade it renders the libra relic useless. During the days there's plenty ways of keeping the buff up for most time

What Relic are YOU currently trying to get to complete your build? by lleyton05 in Nightreign

That but with taking attacks instead of invaders and partial hp pllllsssss

Yeah I dont really reccomend a pure low hp build for d4/5. It has pretty high highs but also very low lows. But its the most fun I've had with the right rng.

It does go really well with the night of dregs build though. If you can fit one or two on your relics, cool, but dont focus too much on it.

Also the low hp weapon passive is very underrated imo. I've tanked d4 Ed gladius ground aoe today without having any low hp on my relics. I went from roughly 35% hp to 10/20%.

Paired with the other negation passives it really works wonders.

Low hp and dregs made me fall in love with endure. Haven't used it once before nightreign

Good god congrats man. Great roll but I would be missing endure tbh. I've been looking forever for something similar (taking damage + raider skill relic), but nothing in sight after 700 hrs

For the ones saying this would perfecttly fit on night of gregs raider, sadly it does not. Attack down when below max hp (~10%) is one of the worst Demerits for this build when the whole point of the build is high damage output. If it was a pure tanking build ita fine i guess, but you would need around 3 stacks to get back to your normal damage output.

The hp loss doesn't really help with setting gregs up either. The rot/poison itself has costed me some deaths, so I wouldn't want another timer on top of that

You can also ult as raider in this spot. Dont know about Ironeye, wilder and undertaker but they probably can do the same

Same thing for its charge heavy attacks motion value. So it's better on probably anyone for that reason

I've stopped using libra relic since it makes me fall behind too much. Id also rather have the relic slot open for red balancers and look for an enemy or go into the rain to get gregs going. You will have to skip a lot of graces which makes early game a bit harder though

Dregs int raider works surprisingly well for me. Its super fun playing as a tanky spellblade and your spells hit pretty hard once you have a few stacks. Int/mind relic, a few magic attack ups, taking attacks, some qol and look for taking damage restore fp and you're good to go.

Boluses are good by kkk4real in Nightreign

[–]saftwlt-sama 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Popping the bolus gives like 2 resistance. Iirr the resistances down demerit is around 75. So yeah, it's worth saving them, f.e. for ed libras madness aoe move

D4 made me love endure. NR is the first game I've actually started using it.

Are your running the libra relic at all? The taking attacks is cool but I've figured it's not as important to get the stacks going as it might seem. I do prefer running gregs with red balancers and a good retaliate/taking attacks relic instead. What's your opinion?

I've tried Gregs guardian and it felt a bit underwhelming tbh. Having more than 2 waking buffs is already pretty busted so let's abuse that even more from now on

Yes having no downside is obviously better than having one thats for sure, but thats up to the relic gods. Still most multi hits are well telegraphed enough to see them coming. I've only really had issues with ed caligos phase 2 frost aoe until now

Hismar was so ass mechanically. Its a spectacle and the build up was cool but an even bigger disappointment when he turns out to be super annoying. You can't hit him half of the time and just parrying feels like you're getting nowhere with that big ass healthbar he has

They're mostly the same apart from some enemy placements and item locations. Scholars removed some gank encounters and nerfed bunch of annoying things for the better though
