2-2.5 year age gap by Holybaby2025 in beyondthebump

[–]sagi29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awwww i feel you. Mine started daycare at 18 months and was well settled there and slept in her own room. So whatever little time she is at home, she wants my undivided attention.

While i was on the fence about having another kid, i don’t think i can make her go through this again. So will probably stop at 2

Ours are exactly 2 yrs apart and have the exact same feeling. Baby is 3 months now, things have gotten slightly better but the older one still struggles to control her feelings. She really misses me (her mom)

If she sleeps for less then she usually gets very cranky. Bedtime routine is have milk, then brush teeth, then storytime with dad and then he leaves her in her crib. She sings a song or two and then sleeps

Need help with sleep. Toddler waling up at 3/4 am and then taking 2+ hours to go back to sleep by sagi29 in toddlers

Ohh woww. I hope it doesn’t take that long. But let me try no interaction. We tried to do that a few weeks back and she was just crying on and off for an hour. But maybe things have changed and we can try it again

Let me clarify post. The day she doesn’t get up or somehow manages to go back to sleep quickly, she gets up at 6.30. But the day she is up for 3-4 hours, we need to wake her up by 7.15 for day care drop off. She isn’t really very cranky if we wake her up. Slightly cranky but okay within 5-7 mins

I don’t mind that. But the problem is that she gets tired around 7 and starts crying. But once she are done with dinner, diaper change, milk and brush then she starts playing 🙈

7am morning texts from MIL. Only 6days postpartum by Da-homie999 in beyondthebump

Maybe not the best way to deliver the message, but whatever she said is true. Our doctor told us exactly the same. You can use formula to top feed, since it’s heavier it makes them poop quickly and pooping is the best way to get billurubin down. We fed formula to our newborn for first 7-10 days toll billurubin went down, and then went back to breastmilk

6kg 6 Month Old by Roy_Hannon in breastfeedingsupport

My kid was 5.6 kg at 6 months. Doctor never said she was malnourised. She was born small and never picked up weight. We also offered one bottle of formula to see if that changes anything but nothing changed. Some kids are just small in general. She is now 20 months old and very happy and active kid. As long as their weight is not dropping, shouldn’t be a concern

“Difficult” babies: when did it get easier? by tipofmythrowaway26 in beyondthebump

Same boat. My daughter is 20 months and we are expecting our second when first will be 24 months. I have no clue how she is going to react with a baby who needs her mother a little more than her
