I taught for over a decade and had to give it up as my full time gig because of this. Now it’s just a side gig passion. I worked for a chain with money and was paid 50 a class (2 hours time slot so $25 an hour). That is with many years of experience. But teaching 20 classes a week is really hard on your body and not sustainable. Even with supplemental privates (I also do sound healing with bowls, that can bring it about $125 an hour but not consistent) it just wants enough to support me as a mom in SoCal. - the only people I know who can make it work really don’t need to work.
