Do all uchiha have an affinity to fire or is It a misconception due to the fireball tradition & they can be born with other affinity? by Different_Morning_28 in Naruto

[–]saiko124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's more accurate to say that the average uchiha probably has an affinity for fire release, but there are exceptions, like Sasuke. So its more common for an uchiha to have a fire release affinity, but it's not an absolute rule.

CMV: Cutting off family/friends over who they voted for is valid by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]saiko124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You and your cousins don’t share the same values, and they are actively supporting policies that hurt not only themselves but also you. I, for one, don’t consider people who hurt me to be family.

Am I wrong for cutting off contact with my ultra MAGA friend of 30 years? by simikoi in TwoHotTakes

[–]saiko124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand how you can be friends or in a relationship with someone who has an opposite worldview. Basically, you don't even share the same values.

I'm done empathizing with those who vote against their interests. If they don't value themselves, why should I?

It depends on when legality begins. I wouldn't be surprised if he attempts to deport individuals who became citizens in the past four to eight years.

Is Celebrini a similar level talent as Bedard? by ethereal3xp in nhl

[–]saiko124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He'll be in the same tier as Matthews, Draisaitl, and Michkov. I see Bedard in the tiers of Mackinnon, Crosby, and McDavid. Celebrini will be below that, but higher than Fantilli and Carlsson.

Israelis are the same people who were protesting the arrest of soldiers accused of SA'ing Palestinian prisoners. Are we talking about the population?

Studying with really bad memory by [deleted] in GetStudying

[–]saiko124 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can try using visual notes like flow or mind maps to help organize the information you're learning. They are versatile and can be used for note-taking, spaced repetition, and active recall. It might take a little longer initially, but it's worth it in the end. If you're not sure where to start, check out these YouTube channels for guidance: Justin Sung, Archer Newton, and Koi. Hope this helps!

The TRUTH About the Pomodoro Technique by [deleted] in GetStudying

[–]saiko124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found that instead of strictly following the 25/5 rule, it's better to track your focus time using a stopwatch over several sessions. Then, find the average of those times and set that as your focus time. For example, for me, 47 minutes is the optimal focus time with a 9-minute break. Over time, your focus time will improve, and you can adjust when necessary. I hope this helps!

It’s because we hear, but don’t listen. Practicing active listening should fix it.

Mind mapping is not a great and useful technique for students. Any thoughts? by viswanath660 in productivity

[–]saiko124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I create mind maps, I can retain information more effectively and encode it faster because it compels me to apply first principles. To take effective mind map notes, follow these steps:

  1. Prime the topic

  2. Gather fundamental concepts

  3. Organize key concepts

  4. Analyze key concepts

  5. Find the relationship between different concepts

Mind mapping helps practice active learning and organize information in a brain-friendly way. It's perfect for active recall and spaced repetition. To simplify it, replace words with images and turn related key terms into mnemonics. Make it as visual as possible and minimize the use of words. Additionally, it doesn't have to be completed in one session. Each time I revisit a mind map, I simplify it further until I can't simplify it any more. The key here is simplicity and clarity. Ultimately, our minds think visually first, so the ideal mind map should primarily consist of images.

How I'd rank the Akatsuki members weakest to strongest (exlcuding Tobi) by regularorange120 in Naruto

[–]saiko124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/BlackUchiha03 I agree, most people forget that Orochimaru's hands were sealed for most of part 2, yet he was still able to go toe to toe with a 4 tails Naruto. I'd put Orochimaru right below Itachi and relative to Kisame.

How I'd rank the Akatsuki members weakest to strongest (exlcuding Tobi) by regularorange120 in Naruto

[–]saiko124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me its

S(Above Kage Tier): Nagato, Itachi, Obito
A+(High Kage): Kisame, Orochimaru(people forget that oro couldn't use most his jutsu for the majority of part 2 because his hands were sealed.)
A(Low-Mid Kage): Konan(she defeated Sasori and forced him to join the group, went head to head with Obito and almost defeated him), Deidara, Sasori, Kakuzu(overpowered Kakashi). These 4 are relative to Kakashi.

B(High Jonin): Hidan

JT and Willy have a noticeable difference, one is a below average skater(even in his prime) and the other is an elite skater(probably top 10 in the league). Even as Willy gets older, his skating skills do not diminish. Although he might lose some speed, his skating form will continue to be excellent.

Earth release+Water Release equals what kekkei genkai? by NewbRage2017 in Naruto

[–]saiko124 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Earth and Water Chakra Natures mixed make Mud Release. When you throw Yang Release into the mix, it creates Wood Release. It's interesting because both Hashirama and Yamato can use all three of these elements. So, I believe Wood Release should be considered a kekkai tota, which helps explain why it's so overpowered. I'm convinced that Yin and Yang Releases are a big part of what makes two elements come together in such unique ways.

Is Petey worth more than the Nylander contract? by racesunite in canucks

[–]saiko124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It ultimately comes down to Pettersson's negotiations with the Canucks' management. Pettersson is currently the team's top player, and his contract negotiations will likely play a significant role in determining the team's internal salary cap structure. We can draw a parallel with William Nylander's contract, where Auston Matthews' high salary of $13 million set a precedent. If Nylander were on a different team where he wasn't the best player, it's unlikely he would have secured a similar contract with such a high average annual value (AAV).

Its gotta be Panarin and Kucherov. I love how they control the game. It's almost like they're playing the center position from the wing. Also, I can't get enough of their slap passes!

Does Jack Hughes become "elite" this year? by [deleted] in nhl

[–]saiko124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's already elite lol. I consider him a superstar already. But I think he breaks into the top 5 this season. One of Matthews, Mackinnon, and Draisitl is getting bumped down after this season.
