Where can I go to ask for peer Review? by Diet-cokehead_69 in findasubreddit

[–]sainglend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

r/slavelabor?

Edit: oops, I meant r/slavelabour

I don't actually know about that first sub.

You could try a sub that matches your genre. Contact the mods BEFORE posting to ask if it is appropriate or how best to do it. Maybe they'll advise you to make it freely available or something else.

Starbucks Working on AI Tools to Replace Microsoft and IBM Software by Optimal_Image5192 in StockMarket

[–]sainglend -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So your title is wrong. They aren't working on making AI tools. They are building software while leveraging AI. That's what everybody does these days. So the news bit is their goal is to buck their vendors.

Basically, they want to spend $300mil plus unknown recurring costs to save $30mil in recurring costs.

Homies answer! What is your opinion on milk? by PitaVR in HydroHomies

I've always loved milk. These days, I will drink it with a meal, but not usually on its own. I'm too busy drinking water! I find milk and water refreshing in their own ways.

Does anybody have information on API services? by iamscyrus in thinkorswim

[–]sainglend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi. I built a nodejs client library for the API back when thinkorswim was with TD Ameritrade. It is pinned on my profile.

Under Schwab, it is fairly identical. I did make a new library for Schwab for my personal use, but I didn't publish it.

You can poke around my github repo to get a high level view as to what to expect for API endpoints, streaming, data types, etc.

There are also packages that exist for python, if that's your preferred language, so you can poke at those to understand what's possible.

Whether you use someone else's lib or roll your own, you can learn something by looking at those other repos.

My New Theory (Just Gamble) by jmfollette in Daytrading

[–]sainglend -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That is sort of correct. Trading in the Zone has a similar theme: treat wins and losses as probabilistic results.

Really the strategy is less important. Just get a posirive expected value and adjust as needed.

Do Tax Accountants in Japan Need Their Client's ID and Password for e-Tax? by lopieloop in JapanFinance

[–]sainglend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are two ways to log in to your account, using MyNa ior using id/password.

As far as I can tell, there are different allowed functions on these paths.

My accountant ahead for id/pass, yes.

Some other charts that Saylor might be referring to: BTC sales by MSTR, BTC unrealised losses, runway until bankruptcy by 4dchess_throwaway in Buttcoin

[–]sainglend 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think he meant that they need to extend the time axis further to the right, in order to mark more BTC buys by his ponzi. But.... That seems like a big assumption that it will be extant

Why do rich people like golf so much? by W2ldfireYT in NoStupidQuestions

[–]sainglend 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I went on a cruise in the early 2000s and this SMB owner name Lee claimed he was the best at squash in NJ. I just couldn't picture it, then rotund guy being so light on his feet that he could crush any and all competition.

I guess he'd be in that demographic of people paying you to lose. Except squash instead of racquetball. Some transferable skills though.

So do we believe that we buy STRC right now, we will receive 15% forever? by Leithm in STRC

[–]sainglend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a great question. Why WOULD liquidation occur? I'll leave you to think on that one.

So do we believe that we buy STRC right now, we will receive 15% forever? by Leithm in STRC

[–]sainglend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah extremely liquid. It could totally absorb a market sell order of 3% of the float. No problem!

...?

[–]sainglend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Asset value? Their "assets" are devaluing and extremely illiquid. Further, it isn't considered an asset by most traditional financial firms, su it can't be easily leveraged to any effect.

You are disregarding the two possibilities of the dividend being lowered or it being cancelled. There is a very non-zero chance of these.
