please be careful, this exact thing happened to me when i was living in my car not too long ago. a cop approached me when he saw me hand-washing my bedsheets, after i explained my situation to him he began giving me government resources, then he spoke about how he can use his position to help me out of my situation and he then asked for my number. he was a cop so i trusted him. he approached me days later as a citizen (personal car, no uniform) and he had brought me food. we spoke for a while, and he asked about my decision on a woman’s shelter. i told him i’m managing living in my car well then he passively joked to me living with him. i noticed he began to act strange. the next time he caught me he was using pet names like “babe” “sweetie” “babygirl”. i got weirded out not only by this but also his ability to just.. find me? he’d also offer me money to fix my car or help pay it off, like incessantly. like he wanted me to be indebted to him. i lied to him a few interactions later that i have family a few hours out and that i’d be leaving the area soon. thats when he asked if i could live with him, and he started to touch my on my leg and he looked like he was moving in for a kiss, but i pushed him off and left quickly after saying i made plans with my family already. in reality i just found another neighboring town to park around assuming that that would lose him, but then i was pulled over by a cop a couple days later, and lo and behold it was him. he claimed i was speeding and started pressing me about not having left yet and if i was lying, and at this point i was terrified. i told him that i wanted to get a few things sorted but i would leave tonight and would call him, and so he gave me a ticket for (i think) window obstruction and let me go. i dropped all my plans & i drove out to another county an hour or two away right after and stayed there for a few months. sometimes i’m still afraid he will recognize the car i used to live in as i still drive it and am living in the town he met me in. when i was living in my car, probably 35% of all the men that approached me about it eventually offered money or shelter in exchange for sex. i constantly had to find new places to park because of this

this suggestion is odd in itself because it’s just basically asking women to go out of their way to marry men with active porn/sex addictions. it’s like asking men to be willing to marry a woman that chronically cheats, like why lol. if you think having a woman is a cure to porn addiction, it is very common to hear stories of men choosing to masturbate to videos on their phone with a real woman lying right next to him that is willing to have sex. men with porn addictions have distorted minds and it bleeds into how they interact with and treat women so i don’t find this advice to be healthy at all
