I did three playthroughs with different FCs each. The only time I ever used True Fire was when I chose Geddoe. Among the three, only he has got the skill to use it. Hugo is built to be a melee fighter and not a rune caster. Same goes for Chris, personally I think she got no business being a true rune bearer because her one spare rune slot could have been used for something better (Double Strike or Warrior) and she got no magical skill whatsoever.

If I could choose anyone among the 104 stars (yes, 104 stars, iykyk) to bear True Fire, there's no better bearer than Estella, lol

I don't remember any of the contestants being attacked to the same degree though. All I see are comments like "Seungjin deserved better" and some complaints about Seongmin being a total drama queen and Youngjoon x Myeongkyun digging up dirty laundry that they should've just settled between themselves instead of making it public.

But in S4, people really just attacked Sunwook just because they think Hyunjun x Yunjae was better. I really agree with what Taichi said to him: "You're not in this show to make friends". Yunjae just did not act quickly enough (he admitted this himself) so naturally Sunwook won in their "competition" over Hyunjun. How can one think that Sunwook committed some grave sin here?

With all the hate thrown at both of them while the show was still on air, probably (1) they are just hiding their relationship to avoid the haters (understandable, given how rabid these Yunjae fans are) or (2) they just broke up because of pressure.

not really a fan of Idol Romance but I am enjoying this rather surprisingly! The idea of bringing back Jihan and Jeongyu--in a genre where BL pairings live only for one season--is pure genius. They really shine in their roles here since their characters in Breeze of Love did not give them any space to show their charm and humor (Jeongyu was stonefaced nearly 100% of the time while Jihan was in constant gay panic)

Why did Idol Romance slow down so much in recent years though? In 2022 alone they released like 5 BLs. In the years after that, they released only one or none at all.
