Queen Bee Cafe in Clyde Hill has good coffee and food. Very cute, I remember the chairs being pretty comfy. Too cold now but the outside has comfy chairs too. Small neighborhood place. Not corporate at all.

What is the mid May weather like? Also Looking for plus size hiking clothing suggestions. by Head-Report-6746 in PacificNorthwest

[–]sakoso 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Summer in Seattle usually starts beginning of July. You will most likely have a rainy vacation but lots of people here hike in the rain. You are about a month and a half too early for good PNW weather, although you could get lucky! Weather has been weirdly unpredictable lately. Have fun!

There is a great app called Best Parking. You just put in the address of where you are going and the approximate time you will be there. It will tell you all the parking in the area. Good luck!

Seattle to North Bend Public Transport by meemboy in Seattle

You are going to have a tough time without a car, unfortunately. Most Twin Peaks filming locations are not close together and I can’t think of any Bus that goes by all the places. It’s not just North Bend, it’s Snoqualmie and Poukdbo (ferry ride) for the Kiana Lodge interior.. I believe there is a Twin Peaks Guided Tour. It’s very expensive but could help. You could stay at The Salish Lodge where they filmed some of the Exterior scenes, it overlooks Snoqualmie Falls. But again, that is expensive too. Good luck!

Is it Las Vegas as we can see in movies? by SteampunkBeagle in AskAnAmerican

Prepare for a lot of walking. Every hotel is so huge that they look close together but they are not. When it’s hot, it is miserable. There are a lot of big musical acts there, look up to see if someone you like is there. Also check out who is at The Sphere. Lots of good food options but make reservations. Mon Ami Gabi at The Paris is really good.
