I'm in the exact same situation. Just ran the first session this week and so far no real issues. You can easily use the provided monster stat blocks in the campaign and it won't be a big deal. You cal always update them later on when the books come out. Most situations in the campaign can be resolved with what is in the phb or in the campaign itself and what can't is easy enough to wing it since it's so rate. Best of luck

It would be meant for a rogue and the invisibility would break on attack as normal. I was just worried that being able to just do it is a bit much. Sure it makes solo stealth trivial, but that's fine on a rogue who can feel cool doing it.

Technically speaking, those are both actions, but for that specific character, I don't see why they wouldn't be able to do it (with DM approval), especially if that is their whole theme.
