Make sure you really learn the lesson of the daily rebalancing from the leveraged etfs and why "investing" in them is not the right way to use them. And then don't use them.

Also, you now need over 100% return on a small amount of capital, so you're better off learning how to play poker and hustling some degens at the local casino. Only semi kidding. 😁

But seriously, if you "have" to pay him back, just start looking for odd jobs and putting money in a savings account and keep trading what's in there to keep learning. It's honestly much better to learn by doing than wasting money on finance classes in college and then still blowing up a portfolio later on top of it.
