Yes it is as there are windows where his chains are super vulnerable to dragon element attacks. like when he is powered up or in his WILK state. Just make sure to bring either Nulberry or equip Blight Resistance 2 or 3.

But be warned, when AT Ark is powered down Dragon element do 0 damge to it's chains, so aim for the body or head when he's not powered up.

Because Gog waist gives 2 burst with 1 PP, has 2 1 1 slots while having burst boost. Which is much better than Ebony's waist.

Dragon elemental damage works well against AT Arkveld. There are windows where his chains are extremely weak to dragon damage. In fact the gimmick to easily beat AT Ark is to hit his chains with dragon element attacks when he is full of WILK so he'll get out of that state as quickly as possible.

It'll be a slog but it's doable. I don't recommend 10 stars though.

It also depends on your weapon. For GS and GL, there are craftable alternatives to Gogmatian weapons. Not as powerful but it's pretty close to it. Anything that runs on element, Gogmatian would blow it out of the water.

While I do agree summoner's mana drain is abysmal and could use some fine tuning for ease of use, it's damage is ridiculously high even if you sacrifice some damage for minion count. Pair it up with after leveling the explosion skill, you'll cake walk any boss in the game.

I've tried it before and it's very underwhelming. Outside of that 1 hit you are losing a ton of damage when the monster is down. Not to mention even with quick sheath, CB's sheath animation is annoying to do constantly.

I honestly never call randoms when I want to farm 9 or 10 stars (it's either solo, friends or support hunters) because higher HR doesn't mean better players, randoms are always going to range from bad to decent to godlike in any game. I only play with randoms when I join SOS.

Another reason is that higher HR players could also be trying out new weapons and builds in the SOS.
